Absolutely loved it! Was kinda disappointed that they didn’t have cabbage though. But what I got was seasoned very well and Miss Freda told me she’ll have cabbage next time . I’m visiting from NC and the Haitian food I had there didn’t compare to this!!!! And I can eat off this one plate 3 times

It has been a month now, five of us took a road trip for the Easter weekend, simply to have the taste of Home food cuisine (Haiti ) . The foods that were brought to us was delicious, the quantities was unexpected and well served. We thought we were in the island with the flavor that was in our foods. We we’re very please and satisfied. We are already planning for another trip to Atlanta Georgia just to have the best taste of Lakay!

The food was horrible. I had a headache all day after eating it. How the food is presented online is not how it is in person. It had no seasoning no salt. The legume look like throw up it was so watery. The griot was dry as ever. The rice was burnt. The lady was extremely nice though. Would I ever go there again? Absolutely not. Rate 1/10

Oh my! I will be honest and truthful. I moved to Georgia 2 years ago and I have been on a mission since then to find a great tasting Haitian restaurant.

After the lovely owner explained her food preparation process, I ordered one chicken meal and one goat, and told her to surprise me with the preparation. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement! My son and I were both blown away! He even liked her plantains and he usually hates them! LOL I will definitely visit this establishment again and you should too… my only “critique” is I wish the pikliz was a tad bit spicier.

So I am waiting for my children at Six Flags again and my normal soul food spot is closed on Sundays. There were no menus so the kind lady just told me what they had. I got stewed goat, rice and peas, macaroni salad, plaintain, shredded cabbage, and a soursop drink. Everything was very good, seasoned well but not salty, not heavy. I appreciated the vegs not being cooked to death as often found in many Jamaican restaurants (this is Haitian cuisine). The wait was under 5 minutes after I ordered. Definitely worth the money.

The food is delicious. Perfectly seasoned but not too salty. Portion sizes are generous. This is the best Haitian food I’ve had in the Atlanta metro.
