This McDonald’s has the best food and service. We went on a Friday afternoon and the staff were so friendly and patient while they took our order. The drive through moved very fast. When we got our food it was hot and fresh. The fries were hot and crispy and the burgers were nicely assembled. No mess! Kudos to the Poway McDonald’s!

The worst experience ever. First off their drive thru “ fast food” menu has been broken for at least three months. So I had to go inside to order. I ordered two happy meals and two sandwiches and a large frye for myself. But checked the bag and the fry wasn’t even half filled. So basically a small fry in a large container for $4.19. So I turned around and went to the counter to ask for a refund. The manager was totally rude as if it were my fault. So unprofessional and she was verbally attacking me and told me to shut up and not to talk. Threatening to call the police because I wanted a refund. I did get the refund, but the point is that all you had to do was fill my fries to the size I ordered. But she was verbally abusive so I demanded a refund. I will never go back there, I’ll drive 10 more mile to a different McDonald’s for my kids to get their unhappy meal from now on.

This McDonald’s does not have a changing station. We came with my kids because it had a kids play area. The kids play area is outside so it’s a bit dirtier than we are used to but with it being outside I figured it’s to be expected. But then it was time to change a diaper and there are no changing stations?! I had to go change my kids diaper in the trunk of the car. Why have a kids area and not set up support for the parents to take care of their children’s needs?

Drive thru menus haven’t been working for quite sometime (at least 3 months). Have stopped multiple times in the evenings over the past 6 months for mcflurry’s and every single time they say “unfortunately our ice cream isn’t working rn.” Clearly management doesn’t want to put time or effort into this location. Blacklisted. Will only go to Scripps Ranch location now because If they can’t keep their signs and appliances in ẅorking order, I imagine they also have lack of care in other areas.
