Decided to visit and have dinner here as our real estate agent suggested this place for good Mexican food. We were greeted immediately and self seated. Chips and salsa came immediately. We both ordered a pick 3 combination plate, for $10.99, ordered an enchilada, Chile rellano and tamale, combination plates come with rice and beans. The chips and salsa was good, salsa was spicy but not too hot, the perfect heat combination the food was very flavorful and tasty, cheese enchilada with red sauce, Chile rellano had a different kind of cheese than I’m used to, it was more liquified from the cooking process than Monterey jack or mozerella cheese would be but the flavor was good. The tamale was outstanding, the masa was moist, the beef filling was tasty and it was topped with a Chile bean sauce, loved it! Rice was moist and good and the refried beans tasted fresh and home made (not canned). Enjoyed our meals. Server could’ve been a little more attentive, we didn’t have any silverware at our table and our food plates came and we were left staring at our plates and no silverware to eat with. We ended up having to retrieve our own off of another nearby table.

They have Taco Tuesday and the other Mexican restaurant doesn’t. I would say the food is the same at both but I like tacos and they’re not that hard to make. My girlfriend had enchiladas and said they are about the same at every Mexican restaurant she’s been to. It wasn’t that busy probably because of the location and my visit was around 1 pm. The people are nice but slow on carry out.

Got the Seafood soup which was different from other Mexican restaurants. Not as spicy as some, but delicious. Wife had a burrito de pollo asado which had three different sauces on it. The burrito was very large and we were surprised she was able to eat all of it at one time. Daughter had a shredded chicken nachos with onions, peppers and jalapeno peppers. Food was very good. Food came at a reasonable time and our server kept up with drinks and checking on us.

The food is great and the waiters are nice, but I don’t recommend ordering takeout, especially online. We waited for ten minutes before anyone even asked why we were there, and another ten to get the food that we were told was ready thirty minutes ago.
