Pod is back! If you enjoyed Pod in the past then you’ll love this updated version in the same place in University City. The decor is updated but the service is as great as you may recall in the past. The menu is diverse although of course on a Japanese-fusion theme ranging from sushi/sashimi to noodles and rice to fuller entrees. Do try the desserts too! Definitely recommended for a visit into the city or if you live nearby – a classic place returns and even better!

Every bite was a perfect combination of flavors. The butter crab roll and tuna nachos were especially life changing. I’ll be back as many times as possible

I went there with my family and it was the best dinner experience I’ve ever had! I got the 7 fishes, The hot stone wagyu, Hokkaido Scallop, Miso Foie Gras, Crispy Pork Gyoza, The mochi potato’s and last but definitely not least we had the Cedar-Smoked Shima Aji. I could not recommend everything we got more everything melted in my Mouth had amazing flavor. The deserts were amazing! The shaved ice was so refreshing and delicious. The strawberries were so creamy and rich and were my personal favorite, The Whoopi’s pie was so delicious and flavorful. The waiters and staff were the nicest staff I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. they gave recommendations and helped us order. I could not recommend this place more!!!!!

We came for happy hour on a Wednesday and loved the experience. The restaurant is spacious and street parking was easy to find. Their happy hour menu included food and drinks and we ordered the hot Wagyu as well. A little pricey but overall delicious and we would come back!

A roller coaster experience. Definitely not a true, authentic Korean dinner, it has a funky twist with its atmosphere, decor and menu. The menu seems to be a fusion of multiple cuisines. The fried chicken, was terrible, it was bland and tasted like the old cooking oil it was fried in, no seasoning. The banchan dishes are not free and are charged per plate, which were mediocre at best. The Ssam platter was delicious and wonderful, worth coming back for. The fries were some of the best I’ve had. The hand rolls were hand rolls. Next time, only order the fries and Ssam platter. Maybe a handrollnif you’re still hungry.

GET THE SPAGHETTI!! It’s so good. Shrimp & tuna roll was the runner up followed by the butter krab roll. All good just liked the spaghetti the best. Had the cucumber sake mojito and a glass of orange wine both bangin’!!

Love the vibe here. It gives me the feeling like I’m in a Squish Game theme Kshow. Definitely a great place to hangout with a girl group and Instagram checkin. The price is pricey that worths the vibe but not the food. The staff are very diverse and friendly. Highly recommend being here for the vibe!

Cute place. Friendly staff. The atmosphere is Modern Futuristic. The food was ok. Highlight of the meal was the fried chicken wings. Would definitely come back for that. It was seasoned just right. Very thin crispy coating with juicy moist meat. Drinks were strong which is good. Lychee martini was good. More citrus martini with a hint of lychee. I got their special easter drink, which was a bit too sweet for me. But was still good. Waiter was kind enough to ask if I wanted to take it off the bill which was kind but I refused cause it wasn’t that bad. I still drank it all. I had those 2 drinks and I feel a great buzz, kinda drunk. (Lol) For the dessert, I liked the chocolate cake. The whipped cheesecake was ok, the flavors were separated. You got the mint, the creamy cheese, and the raspberry. All the flavors were there, it was distinct. I think it tasted better once you mixed everything together. I topped it off with a spring jasmine tea, which hit the spot. Overall, the experience was nice.

Very pleasant experience dining at this restaurant. Korean fusion offers delicate Korean food in nice presentation. The chocolate cake definitely sealed the deal. Love it!
