Shogun is my favorite hibachi restaurant in the area. This cute Japanese Restaurant located in Palm Harbor has fast service and a great atmosphere. The hibachi has perfectly seasoned chicken and vegetables with fried rice (choice of soup or salad too) all for $15 including tax. The lunch specials run from 11-3 Monday thru Saturday and are very popular. You can get delivery from Doordash in under an hour and not even leave your house. I can’t comment on the raw fish (I’m a kidney transplant recipient) but I hear great things.

First time coming here. We wanted to try someplace new and came here based on the written reviews online. Went on Valentine’s Day and they had lovely decorations for the occasion. It is a very spacious, clean, nicely layed out restaurant. We had 2 appetizers and 2 full Hibachi Dinners. The miso soup was hot and delicious and the salad was very fresh and the homemade ginger dressing was exceptional! Honestly everything was so fresh and delicious! Very ample servings. For me, next time I will order sauces on the side as the sauce it was cooked in was a little to heavy for me, but that’s just me. Hubs loved that!… Their fried rice is very unique. I’ve never had fried rice like it before. It was flavorful but light!….. We’ll be back again and hope that other’s will give it a try. Oh…. the server’s are excellent! Very kind and attentive.

Honestly me and my wife try to come here at very least once a month and they just continue to blow us away every time with not only the quality of the food but the service as well. Hellen has always been a top tier service provider for us and she takes care of us every time we visit. Highest quality rolls around coming from an avid sushi eater. 10/10

Food and service may be different as to ordering online. Ordered steak and salmon requesting rare for the steak. When I received my delivery my steak was well done and the salmon was dry and crispy. Called the restaurant and was told that it was because of the delivery being too far and that was the reason, nope it was within 3 miles. Told them that I was pretty sure the steak and salmon didn’t continue cooking on the way to my house. He then said that they were having trouble in the kitchen. Ok, I said. He told me sorry, to contact Uber and then hung up on me. This is not an Uber issue, this is a poor customer service issue.

The food here was delicious. Reasonably priced and service was great. I have been to this restaurant twice now and is definitely a local favorite of mine when it comes to Japanese cuisine. My kids even ate the food here which is saying something because picky eaters is a real thing.

Great food and service ! (we always go early so I can’t really say how service is during peak times) Lobster rangoons are so yummy! Always delicious sushi rolls with beautiful presentation, even Hibachi is presented well as it comes to the table sizzling! We have been coming to Shogun for a little over a year now and everything is still just as nice and just as clean as the first time which for whatever reason seems to be an accomplishment in this state, pretty sure its family run and the pride they take in the food and business shows.
