When you walk into Sabroso, you’ll see a giant chalkboard which serves as the menu. After making your entre selection, you’ll head down the counter to pick out the exact ingredients you want in your dish. For instance, you have choices for different types of meats, beans, cheeses, rice, and sauces. They also have vegetarian options.

We got the Calibirria burrito with the cheese crust, 2 traditional steak tacos, street corn, flautas, walking taco, churro and horchata. The burrito was packed with flavor although a bit messy. The meat needed seasoning, not sure but it needed something more. The tacos tasted like your typical steak/asada tacos, they were not super greasy and were flavorful. The rice and beans were good but again, the rice needed a little more flavor, seasoning, and the beans were not your typical Mexican beans. The street corn was good. It is overpriced for the amount you get. The horchata was not good, tasted more like an oatmeal drink. The walking taco was ok. The hot Cheetos bag was the small 1oz bag so I’d say that this is also overpriced. Very small portions added to it. The churro did not taste good. They have pepsi products. There are a few vegetarian options. Overall, the food is just ok. Not terrible, but not the greatest either. Their prices are reasonable considering they are a small place. It’ll scratch the itch. Friendly staff quick service. Clean restrooms and some tables to dine in (6 or a little more possibly) 3 stars for now. We’ll try some other items next time and update.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Not only is the food amazing but the customer service is top tier. The lady who made our burritos tonight was so sweet and polite. Definitely will come back here when we are on road trips! Bonus points for having such amazing vegetarian options

We decided to try out a new restaurant and stumbled upon this jem. We’re so glad that we did! The quesabirria, calibirria burrito, and Mexican street corn were very delicious! Besides the delicious food, the owners are very hospitable and considerate. A line was starting to form because people came in one after the other. Though, it wasn’t a long wait, they still apologized for delay. We visit the area often and will definitely be back!

I was the only person in there when I ordered my burrito, which was bland and didn’t have the guacamole I paid for in it when 3 Mexican men came in. They had their food and half eaten before I even got mine. Then they apologized and said they would give me my drink free. Instead, they double charged my card, which they did get corrected but didn’t give me the drink fee like they said. I’ll not go there again. Terrible experience. And for $22, that was ridiculous. I’ll go to Taco Bell for a lot less and get a lot more. Not to mention something that’s palatable and not feel like I got put on hold because their friends or family came in.
