The most delicious and yummy rice burrito (飯糰) ever. Also really appreciate they have options for purple rice (more fiber, more vitamins and more omph!). Love their soy milk too – so silky and smooth. Their online ordering system makes it really easy to order and pick up. Great service too. Love this place.

We ordered two different kinds of soy milk and they were ok. Rice burritos were plain.

Excellent sticky rice roll with pork floss. Very authentic with lots of filling. The rice is perfectly cooked. Not too mushy and not too thick. And it’s got a half simmered egg and pickled veggies. Honestly. This is very very good! Comparable or better than the ones in Taiwan. Hats off to the chef. Even my super picky elderly parents were impressed. They couldn’t stop talking about it after we bought both the original and purple rice roll.

So glad there is finally authentic Taiwanese food in Redwood City. Taiwanese Eats specializes in rice roll (飯糰) and soy milk (豆漿) and they did not disappoint. The rice roll was freshly made with all the right ingredients such Chinese pork sung, braised eggs, cabbage, and Chinese donut (油條). It was neatly packed and you can taste the freshness of the roll (unlike the other ones you get in the bay). Soy milk was not too sweet just perfect to go along. It is a to-go business so you place order via website or at the front entrance and someone will bring you the order when it’s ready. Highly recommend to those who miss the old traditional Taiwanese rice roll or who simply want to try this new gem in Redwood City!

The taste of the pickled veg, fried dough, are on par. However, the sticky rice is overcooked and the egg is not the traditional soy simmer egg that is advertised. The rice bowl is cut in half, and because the sticky rice is overcooked, they sticked to the paper wrapping. The execution of the rice bowl was also too loose, so it falls apart while eating. The person assembling it must not have had an authentic taiwanese rice ball growing up. Overall, I’d say the founder has the right idea but hired the wrong person to execute it.

Purple rice cooked to perfection. Soy milk is flavorful and great as a coffee or tea creamer.

Solid Fan Tuan and soy milk. I was just in Taiwan and tried a few breakfast Fan Tuan and soy milk joints but none of them were as good as Taiwanese Eat or as tastier. Definitely try their braised pork flavor, it’s a huge hit for me.

The rice is really mushy which is very disappointing. The fillings are authentic, especially the fried dough. Regular soy milk is also very nice.
