A great restaurant right in the heart of Downtown Chadbourn. there is easy free parking across the street and behind the restaurant. It features delicious homemade breakfast and lunches. The building was originally a movie theater built in the early 1900s.
Donald and Cindy Nealy purchased the building 2 years ago and completely remodeled it taking the walls down to the bear bricks.
The food is delicious. The service is friendly.
The atmosphere is more than charming.
This facility has very clean restrooms
If you were traveling through Chadbourn on your way or back from the beach this is a must stop place.
One of their featured items is their authentic Eastern North Carolina barbecue.
They also feature a daily lunch special.

Maybe we picked a bad day to try this restaurant. We arrived nearly an hour before their 2:00 closing time. They were out of almost everything. The onion rings we ordered (because they were out of sweet potato fries) were too greasy to eat. Very nice waitress trying her best. The explanation was that the health inspector had shown up that day.

This place is absolutely incredible. It is a little hole in the wall that packs a punch. The inside of this restaurant is too cool, it used to be a old movie theater. The food is delicious and very affordable. The staff was the nicest people you could ask for, and the owner is a sweet lady!

Donald and Cindy do a great job with good daily specials and classic dinner fare! Cindy’s Kountry Kitchen is a great “Back from the Brink” story. This building was nearly destroyed in a hurricane and the former owners couldn’t repair, and our town lost a staple restaurant. Now it’s a booming business with charm and life again!

Food was good and a very good price. The pork chops was very thin but the chicken was awsome.
