A couple of tables in the back of a Korean grocery. Damn good stuff. I was in Korea a few years ago and this was the closest to authentic Korean I’ve had since back in the states. The seafood pancake was especially great.

Took awhile for the main dish to be cooked, but the kimchi pancake with pork came in moderate time. They are going to bring up tips when paying, but the service was excellent.

Had the rib soup. I went a couple times. I had no issues before. I loved the soup. It’s authentic compared to most. However, I went again recently, and the lady was giving me attitude on the check out desk when I simply respond to her when she swiped my card and ask, “how much are u tipping”. I told her that “I do not want the tip charged in my card” (I was going to ensure that there’s a tip left of the table before I leave – in cash). She started to fuss at me. An outstanding location for Korean food, Seoul Restaurant on 1717 Decker Boulevard is phenomenal in quality and freshness. I visited recently and tried Seoul Restaurant’s Cold Spicy Noodle Soup and Seafood Pancake which were a joy to consume. Everything is fresh and inviting. I really enjoyed myself in the small clean dining area. The Seoul Restaurant also serves as a Korean grocery featuring a variety of items. I highly recommend Seoul Restaurant as an excellent dining experience.

This location is not much to look at from outside or in, however the food is absolutely fantastic, reasonably priced for the quantity and quality of food you receive, truly authentic Korean food. We will eat at this restaurant every time we come to this area of South Carolina. Wish they would open a store at our location!!!
