Moved on this side of town a few years ago and hadn’t found a good place. Till a month ago I got a green scallion plant and really wanted egg drop soup for it. I Googled best egg drop soup near me and it popped up Wang Cai with a picture of a huge container of beautiful egg drop soup. When you walk in you are hit with the most pleasant eroma of food coming from the kitchen. I ordered more food it smelt so good. The soup was sooo yummy and hot. It hit all the right spots. My chicken was fresh, moist and delicious!! I have been there at least once, sometimes up to three times a week since. BEST FOOD IN SOUTH SIDE INDY. 10/10 RECOMMEND

Absolutely love this restaurant! It’s Chinese done extremely well. Portions are large with very affordable prices. Menu is extensive with an entire section of spicy options. Mei Fun is harder to find on the southside & they even have a spicy option for it, as well. Chicken sticks weren’t tough which has become the norm at many other restaurants I’ve tried. I definitely have a new favorite Chinese takeout place.

Literally the best Asian food around! If you don’t get the teriyaki skewers you’re messing up. Get the skewers then a large order of chicken fried rice, fine chop the skewer teriyaki glazed meat and mix with the fried rice. F d me my wife AND my son. For like $28. Insane the quality is amazing. Then add 3 packets of duck sauce and 2 soy. Shake and bake and you my friend have the best Asian food you’ve ever had! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

The staff are very helpful & nice, but the food is terrible. My sweet ‘n sour pork is incredibly greasy & has far too much batter wrapped around the tiny cubes of meat. I have an aweful stomachache & feel faint.

Never ordering from here again. Delivery was quick and delivery person was nice but it didn’t make up for the terrible food. Chicken Fried rice was so overcooked it was almost burnt and it had no egg in it whatsoever. Worst CFR I’ve ever had. Bourbon chicken had a funny texture to the meat and was covered in a slimy sauce that tasted nothing like bourbon sauce. Egg drop soup way too thick. Sweet and sour chicken sauce was disgusting. Don’t waste your money here. Go to Lotus Garden on Smith Valley and US 31. The food is ALWAYS good there.
