The deep fried footlong hotdogs have been a staple in this town for a long time. Unfortunately, it seems they have changed their buns after all these years. Now they have a thick chewy crust, instead of the normal light and crisp texture, even after being pit on the grill. Doesn’t quite taste the same either. 🙁 I hope they were just out at the time, and used these as a backup. Service and staff are good, and the rest of the food and desserts have always been good.

Their ice cream and shakes are good, but that’s not very hard to mess up. The food on the other hand has been mediocre, as well as the customer service. A bunch of young girls with snobby attitudes behind the counter.

A summer time classic, the dipped cones are pretty good and its just fun to stand on the sidewalk and eat ice cream. I have been less impressed with the food, but it is palatable.

It really is too bad this place is only open in the SUmmer months. If your out walking around town this is a nice little place to stop from Ice Cream and/or Diner style Hamburger and fries.
