I’m so excited that there’s finally an AUTHENTIC Chinese restaurant in Lafayette, and I can’t wait to go back. Everything was so flavorful and delicious – definitely spicy but I love that! The dumplings in chili oil and scallion pancakes were the best I’ve had since living in Chinatown NYC. For mains, the cumin beef was heavenly. My only complaint is that the laziji/spicy chicken was too breaded (“popcorn” style) instead of deep fried which is the traditional way.

It took me a while to try this place and I regret it! This is hands down the best, real, Chinese food in Lafayette! Service was wonderful and kind. I had the cumin beef, dumplings, and fried rice.. delicious! I’ll definitely be back to try other things. The level of spice is great and this isn’t Americanized Chinese food that’s dripping in thick sugar sauce it’s authentic and everything is so fresh. Great job guys!

This was such a nice little restaurant! Very nice service and amazing food. Our cook even left the spice off of the short ribs because it was for our four year old. It was great Chinese food! Highly recommend!!!

I have heard so many good things about this place and it did not disappoint. The service was good and the young lady was very polite and helpful explaining their menu and what to expect since it was our first time here. Everything is extremely authentic and yes spicy however you can ask for mild versions. I had the Boiled beef in spicy sauce. It was a large bowl with plenty of beef and veggies in a spicy broth. I just couldn’t stop eating it! It was so good! I definitely want to return and try more.

We got the dishes you see below. There was a little spice but it wasn’t so powerful that your nose dripped. Frankly I think they should have a picture next to each menu item with a better description for some of the dishes because it doesn’t do the food that’s coming to your table justice. Boiled fish or boiled beef are standout dishes you should try.
