We went for lunch and had the 2 for 19.99 special. The hibachi chef was very entertaining and professional. The restaurant was not busy at all so we were able to talk freely amongst our party with disturbing anyone. The only drawback was they don’t give refills on sodas if not for that I would have given another star.

It had been several years since we had come to Nagoya and it didn’t disappoint. Just as great as we had remembered it. We were there on a busy night over the holidays and we had a bit of a wait before the cook came to our spot to cook but once he was there he cooked several of our meals in a very short time. Not only that but he was very friendly and did a great job with an entertaining experience. If I’m looking for a negative,I would say the shrimp was slightly over-cooked but really it was nothing to hold back on a review for. It tasted fantastic, honestly. My daughter had the Miso Ramen and loved it. Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly. We’ll make sure to come back more often now!

This is honestly one of my favorite places to eat at. I want to give it a 5 star for food. However, it’s a hit or miss. One day my food is excellent the next it’s mediocre. The atmosphere is a 3 because it’s not very fancy and you can tell this was an old restaurant that was redone with minimal investment. This isn’t a dig to the restaurant… you ABSOLUTELY eat here. Just not it’s a toss-up of excellent vs. not so excellent.

Did hibachi, chef was GREAT. Food was good, need to have yum yum sauce on the table. Steak (not filet) was a little tough. Cooked to order, but just not top quality. So far my favorite hibachi place in the Austin area.

Waited about 30 minutes after being sat just to order drinks, then about another 45 minutes for food which was bland with the exception of alot of black pepper. Then the cheezy and dry humor from the overworked cooks ensued. Overall, a crowded and tasteless experience.

Hibachi lunch was excellent prepared by chef. Scallops oh so tiny but pack a powerful flavor. Salmon was delicious. Honestly thought would be dry (fish, ya know) BUT it was cooked perfectly! Others had steak, chicken, pasta, rice all said was excellent. I only missed my second part of the double-portion vegetable I ordered (instead of rice or pasta) and no treat (dessert) at end of meal. I did try telling chef veggies but its hard to hear over the fan I suppose. Waiter was perfect. He wrote everything down as it did appear on my ticket. Appreciated the waiter’s description of some of the menu and also ability to pay cash and get a paper receipt!

About a 30 minute wait which was fine but then we waited at our table for an hour for the chef to come out. Our poor kids were hungry and tired. We had no clue there would be an additional wait. Otherwise we would not have stayed.
