So this is a 3rd update and not in a good way. Seems each visit get worse and worse. So after 1st good visit we came 2nd time which was disappointing food and service wise so this time we decide to give it last chance and what a mistake. So when we just got there the blonde older lady had a face that should not be as a front desk or greeter. 0 smiles 0 accommodation, and that was almost the end of our visit, and to be honest, I wish we would just leave right then and there, but we decided to stay. Our waitress was a nice young girl with some life, but I would say her attention to details is not great but not a deal breaker. We decided to pretty much order 1/2 lb round eye, 1/2 lb brisket, 1/2 smoked turkey, and some tenders. Side of 3 cheese fries and some coleslaw, and that was the mark of the end for us. The drinks we got tasted horrible, the round eye tasted bad with 0 good flavors, all you can taste is some raw meat taste! we couldn’t even eat more than a bite, the turkey where you can see a picture I posted seems old, dry and had once again weird after taste. We had good amount of smoked turkey from BBQ places and this one by far was the worst we ever tried. The brisket somewhat was the only good thing but no more than 2 out 5 stars. The waffle fries with so called 3 cheese they charge $13k and that’s robbery for just plain fries and cheese. Nothing special on it, no special seasonings no special toppings yet $13 for a dry mediocre fries is ridiculous, the coleslaw was not fresh you can see the picture had brown spot and discoloration of the cabbage and 0 flavor nor good or bad just plain. The tenders were swimming in oil inside the basket we got, but from everything, that was probably the best thing. The only thing that saved the lunch was to drown everything with their BBQ sauce, and I mean DROWNING because if we don’t, we would have left starving. We left 85% of the food on the table, and someone that actually pays attention (our waitress) should have seen that something is wrong, being we barely touched anything. The right thing would not charge us $70 for food, which, to be honest, is not worth $20. I’m not going to lie, about 5 years ago, everything was so much better there, and since everything was declining. Unfortunately this is a place we will never come back and I suggest to anyone that like a good BBQ to look for a different restaurant.

They have delicious ribs a must in the area. It is popular and well liked. Did not enjoy wine selection otherwise the food and service were outstanding. They have delicious pecan pie freshly baked daily, and I would say there coleslaw is also delicious.

Won’t visit again. I could hardly cut the brisket as it was very dry and old. My wife had the ribs that were not fall off the bone but needed to be sliced off. The beans were undercooked but the mac n cheese were great. Spent $69.00 with very little value. Never again. Service was good though.
