We ate most of the food too fast to get any good pics. My wife said the salmon was the best she’s ever had in any restaurant. I really enjoyed the chicken parmesan and the meatball appetizer. All food was prepared well and served in a timely manner and although the wine list isn’t too extensive it offers a lot of good options.

I have never had a bad experience here! My wife and I sat outside and watched the Dirty Birds game while spending a similar amount to eat the best lasagna in Charleston!

I’ve been here several times with family, and the food is always great. It was an early spot to come back after the pandemic. The pasta (which comes from Charleston Bread down the road) is delicious. On my most recent visit I had the swordfish and polenta, which was solid. The service is good. You can see a ballgame in the summer, though the atmosphere is great year round.

Edited to add: the restaurant offered us a partial refund for our entrees in June (2 months ago) which we still have yet to receive. Shocker. We’ve called several times and they just claim it’s on the way. Just avoid this place altogether.

Good rich chicken soup with tiny dumplings. Good cheese ravioli and good lasagna. Bread good, dipping oil just so-so. Ice tea kinda weak.

We stopped by without a reservation the night of a show at the nearby Clay Center. They were still able to accommodate us at the bar for a couple of drinks and a heavy appetizer. Great place and great service.

Food was very good and has an awesome rustic atmosphere. The restaurant is attached to the baseball stadium on the Morris street side. This is a perfect place to get some great Italian food in Charleston!

I went here with my girlfriend for our 3rd anniversary after a friend told me about how good the food is. We had a great time and some great food too. We started off with the arrosticini (lamb skewers) as an appetizer, then I got radiatori pasta with bolognese sauce and she got spaghetti with marinara sauce. To finish it up, we got a slice of cheesecake and some berry jam. The arrosticini was delicious, especially paired with the tomatoes served with it. While I loved the pasta, I didn’t really like the bolognese sauce, but it was my first time having it and it could just be that I don’t like bolognese sauce in general and I can’t fault them for that. My girlfriend doesn’t like her pasta cooked al dente (to me, it’s the only way pasta should be cooked), but she liked the marinara sauce on her spaghetti. The cheesecake was a strong finisher and went well with the berry jam. My only complaint about dessert was that the jam had a hint of mint that I thought didn’t go well with the cheesecake, but I don’t think the jam was originally supposed to be paired with the cheesecake. We asked if they had any fruit sauce for the cheesecake and they said they had something they could give us, so my guess is they don’t normally pair them together. Regardless, it was still delicious, mint or no mint. If I go back, I’ll be getting the radiatori again, but I plan to try another sauce.

This was my first visit since Abruzzi opened. The menu is pretty limited but we enjoyed what we ordered. Their take on a caprese salad, using arugula, cherry tomatoes, and burrata is incredibly good. I enjoyed mine with a helping of their lasagna.

Great handcrafted food and service. Their eggplant parmesan is some of the best I’ve had. The portions are generous and the meal comes with tasty fresh bread. My top restaurant in charleston. The service is always very good too.
