I’ve driven by many times but never stopped until today. Good food and service. Never knew where to park, and they had parking behind the restaurant. The jamaica agua fresca was refreshing. I had the migas plate (how I rate Tex Mex restaurants) with a side of barbacoa. I will be back for sure.

By far my favorite restaurant in San Antonio. The food is the best and it is so cheap also. We ordered multiple dishes including barbacoa, menudo, tostada, mini tostadas, chilling rellenos and chilaquilles and 3 drinks under $40. This restaurant is a big must to visit when you are visiting San Antonio or live here.

Medina’s was very close to a 4th star, and I really wish we could give 1/2 star ratings. The service was great, and the waitress/cashier was very nice. I ordered huevos rancheros with a side of guisada. Comes with potatoes, refried beans & tortillas, which is pretty standard. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the guidada had a good flavor, but it was the ranchero sauce that stole the show. Really good. The potatoes & tortillas were OK, but the beans were just barely warm.

Drove by and noticed the mural on the building wall and it got our attention. We looked through their fb page, Instagram profiles before going in and it helped us decide what to order. Glad we went in, very clean, staff was nice and food was delicious.

Honestly discussing, chicken soup with chicken skin! So oily and the smell wasn’t that pleasant. Came with rice that taste like they cooked it with pre used oil. Honestly beyond disgusting.
