My goodness their halo-halo is phenomenal! I would drive 1.5 hours just for their food. I have tried a lot of Filipino restaurants around, Ohio, Michigan, Chicago, Seattle, Florida, California, and by far, Isla is top tier! All their foods are carefully handcrafted and made to perfection! So so proud of you guys! You guys definitely know what you’re doing!

To start off, the dessert was amazing, but everything else was pretty lacking for me sadly. Upon entering the store, there wasn’t anyone at the counter until a few minutes later. I ordered the chicken Adobo, and sadly it tasted pretty mediocre, a little too salty if anything. It was just a bunch of rice and chicken and a little pricy, but nothing too special sadly. I do appreciate the generous amount of chicken and rice that was given, so much that I made a second meal out of it for dinner, but I just wish there was more flavor to it. That’s just my opinion though, you might really like it! Highly recommend the dessert though!

Delicious. Tasted like home. Came on a Wednesday and it was nice and slow. Inside is super clean and modern, there’s about five small tables and another seating area near the window, so be conscious of what day and time you’re coming.

They know what they are doing. I love the shrimp palabok, spaghetti and chicken wings, pork and chicken adobo.

An island in the middle of Sterling Heights. Very very good food! I stopped in and tried the Tropical Ube Cake, Buko Halo Halo, and the crispy pork. The pork was amazingly crispy, even more than a pork rind. The Buko Halo Halo had such good sweet flavors too.

Brings back memories from home! The nostalgia of eating filipino food is always the best even when you’re on the other side of the planet.

Amazing food. We had chicken adobo and the Pancit. Will definitely be back. The couple that run it were very sweet too. We’re excited to try the Halo Halo next time.

A cute little place in sterling heights. Small menu. Different varieties of noodles and rice. And couple dessert options. None of the food will disappoint you. It is so good. You definitely have to try it. The place is small, but they have plenty of chairs and tables. It is nicely decorated. There are no restrooms when I went there.

Looking for awesome adventure food than this is the place. We’ve never had cusine quite like this, and while it’s adventurous it’s so darn good. We tried the chicken which came with rice and toppings that you could add. Chicken was line a delicious rotisserie chicken but way better. Rice was cooked perfect and the addition of the pickled toppings and vinegar sauce made it amazing. We finished with the halo dessert. Very unique and tasty. The purple homemade yam ice cream was out of this world. We will definitely be back to this little treasure.
