Food is alway good and staff is always nice. It has more of a laid back atmosphere compared to other sushi places in the area but the food is still amazing. Had a chance to speak to the manager the other day and he was really nice and accommodating for my friend with dietary restrictions. Definitely made me feel welcome and would recommend to anybody!

Slow service although it wasn’t even busy. When we came, there was like 2 other people and they had 3 chicks and a dude working there (plus the chef). I would say we spent at least 20-25 minutes until somebody cared to ask what we want to order.

The ramen was better than the sushi…. Ironic bc this has sushi in the name. The sushi was 4/10. it didn’t really have much flavor and although it was 3 different rolls it all tasted the same. The ramen was a 5/10. Had the soy sauce broth. The pork had a weird flavor to it. Felt little sick after eating this unfortunately :/

Really enjoyed eating here, excellent ambience and friendly staff. Definitely try to catch the happy hour (until 7pm weekdays). Sushi was good but not great, but solid for the price. Calamari was great but only had a spicy sauce. Would definitely go again

The Miso Soup was delicious and had the right of everything. The soft shell crab tempura was light and very close to being sinful, and lastly, the Pork Katsu was the best I had in a long time. The prices are excellent for the area. I will have to add this place to my goto list.

In the last two weeks, we ordered two meals from Hanaro/Kusshi. The first meal was amazing; however the second was very disappointing. We ordered the sashimi platter both times along with some rolls. The sashimi platter was amazing the first time, but bland and barely edible the second. Giving 2 stars only because the first meal was so amazing. Consistency is important. We won’t be ordering from here again.
