Had my first trip to Lola’s this week, but it won’t be my last! My horchata, pupusa, and empanada were all delicious. My husband also loved his daily special meal. The care that is put into every made from scratch dish is reflected in the whole restaurant! Great service and great environment. You really cannot beat fresh tortillas. Lola’s is in our top 5 favorite Fort Wayne restaurants. It is a fantastic value for the quality of food and service. If you’re flying in or out of Fort Wayne, this would be a perfect stop!

Wow! What a great dining experience. We arrived just before lunch around noon and was immediately welcomed and offered free samples of the drinks and food. The cashier explained the menu to us since this was our first time there. She said that most of their food is not spicy but can be made spicy by adding any of the 3 sauces that were provided with the meal; mild, medium and hot. The hot was nice and spicy, but not overwhelmingly hot. We ate in the small dining room, which was clean, updated and comfortable.

Yum! Stopped in for a quick bite to eat before an airport pickup. Lola is so friendly and engaging. She explained her food offerings, noting that it’s all homemade and you can definitely taste the difference. We had the steak tacos and pupusas, Puerto Rican rice, and beans. All delicious. Too bad we’re not local or we would definitely be regulars. Come support Lola and her dream!

The food is fantastic – the pupusas are lovely, rich cheesy flavor and delicious additions (pork, beans, spinach, zucchini, etc). Your choice of dipping sauce – hot, mild, and “regular” which is flavorful and barely spicy. The bread pudding tastes like flan – rich and caramelly. And the drinks are amazing – horchata that tastes like rice and cinnamon, not sugar water, rich tart jamaica, tamarind juice made from fresh tamarind, tart lemonade…

Ms. Lola’s cooking is fresh, Everything! Her demeanor was so welcoming and professional. Her Spanish food is da bomb! She put her heart into her cooking and it shows. I’ve been in Fort Wayne Indiana 6 years & I’m mad I Just found out about her! The Only downside is getting stuck at the train tracks but believe me when I write it’s Worth the wait! The atmosphere is like coming home!

Where to begin! My boyfriend and I found this place by coincidence. Allow me to say that it was the most incredible hidden gem we have found in Fort Wayne! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was very clean, homey, and welcoming. The service was exceptional. Lola was amazing and engaged in conversation. And her staff were very polite. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. It brought back many happy memories from my childhood. I had the empanadas, pupusas and the chicharron and yucca with her homemade pineapple juice. Everything was yummy and cooked to perfection. Loved this place and the people we met. Definitely forever customers. Everyone should visit this place and bring as many of your friends as you can!

New mom & pop eatery that just opened last month! Owned by locals. Met Loly the owner who goes by Lola. Loly is sharing her family’s tried & true recipes and the results do not disappoint. Tried practically one of each item on the menu. The taco meat is seasoned to perfection. The empanadas are delicious. Horchata & Jamaica (Hibiscus) juices are made fresh. Salsas and tortillas are made fresh also. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend this spot.
