Ordered take out this afternoon and it was downright horrible- first time eating from this Sushi AI and won’t be coming back. Our chicken skewers were a third the size as normally served in the restaurant…paid $7 for 6 dried up, 3 day old tiny cubes of what seemed to be dog food. Got my salad wrong and included a gracious tea spoon of dressing with the clearly unwashed salad. Sushi tasted like it had sat for an hour before we ordered it even though we picked it up right as it was done being prepared. If I hadn’t driven the 20 minutes home I would’ve come back for a refund.

Enjoyed this AYCE option for lunch. Our server Ben was friendly and helpful with refills, orders and pointing out the different items. For $15pp this was enough variety and filling, really appreciate a few of the appetizers so we could enjoy some hot items.

In my opinion Sushi Ai is the best Sushi Restaurant in St. Louis. I dine at the one in Maryland Heights and have NEVER had a bad meal. The prices are reasonable, the food is freshly prepared and the service is great. Highly recommend.

We’ve been here a couple times now and it’s pretty good. Everything is always fresh and staff is mostly friendly. All you can eat for lunch is totally worth it and even includes a couple appetizers. Would suggest trying the Maryland roll, the Honey roll, Christmas roll, and the Eel roll.

Updated dining area is much nicer than it used to be. Food was okay, but the menu is boring and outdated. There are much better roll choices at the Clayton and even Saint Charles locations. Staff was just hanging out in front of the restaurant joking and being loud during our meal which was irritating and unprofessional.

I used to frequent this location especially often but it had been a while until yesterday evening with a friend from my childhood. It is still fantastic! Lovely and cozy, quiet and charming, and the food is fantastic as always was before too! On top of that, I was exceptionally pleased with our server as he was attentive but not annoyingly so, very friendly, and just all in all fantastic at his job. I believe his name is Chris, but cannot be sure. Very respectful but with a proper balance of ease that made interacting not tense nor too informal.

Decent price for buffet. I like spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, shrimp tempura roll most. I highly recommend these if you guys don’t like cream cheese in the roll. American dream roll is also my favorite even it tastes similar shrimp tempura. Christmas roll is another type of tuna roll. Shrimp dumplings are good but so tiny I wish they are in big size. Overall, this place is good.
