I’ve been craving a Lobster roll for a while now. When I saw this place was a few minutes from our house, I had to stop by. It was delicious and just the right amount. The chowder was also excellent. Maybe I’m just old fashioned, or appreciate all the dives/hole-in-the-wall/off-the-beaten-path type spots, but my girlfriend and I felt very comfortable the whole time, thought the service was great, and we’ll definitely be back.

This place has a good calm vibe. The service was excellent. Dogs always get their water first, haha. As far as the food, they are ok. A number of other reviews raved about the onion rings. Our batch was a bit burnt. The carb wonton was good.

We just had a wonderful meal at That Dam Place last night. Much of what they serve is made from scratch in their own kitchen. It is fresh and very eye appealing in how they present the food, not to mention it is some of the best food we have had – period. The tomatoes they use for soups, etc are grown on their dog friendly patio. They even serve water and a doggie snack! The small staff is very welcoming and they greet returning customers as family. Highly recommend this place – for the price you cannot beat their food.

We came on a quiet Sunday afternoon. We had to stop because of the name of this place, haha I’m sure glad that we did too. Had one of the best chicken sandwiches(California something) I’ve had in a while too, along with fluffy & crispy fries!

Was here on a hot summer day and the cold gespacho was a refreshing delight. I do enjoy their clam chowder during the cooler days. The occasional pulled pork sandwich special is my favorite. The very juicy pork with coleslaw, hand-cut to order, boosts the tangy/sweetness. While the wait staff is minimal, they are very conscientious about providing excellent service and superb food. I look forward to my next visit.

We came in this afternoon (Sunday) and easily found a place to sit 6 of us (4 adults, 2 kids). My dad was very impressed with the amount of clams in his clam chowder and the overall taste. I had the lobster roll and salad which went perfectly together. Those that had burgers told me that they were good and very large. My kids finished their meal in order to receive their prize….an otter pop! The service was great and food came out quickly. I would definitely recommend! Can’t wait to come back and try something different.

This is a very interesting place. You walk in and it’s almost cozy. They have a lot going on with the decoration but the atmosphere is very welcoming. Their food creations are unique and have hilarious names. I ordered the clam chowder to start and it was delicious and more full of clams than expected. Our server was super kind and helpful especially being that they had a rush after we came in. The chef also did an amazing job with all the orders making sure each order was not compromised by the pressure of time. This place definitely left me wishing I had a second stomach. We will definitely be coming back.

Nothing real special about the food, its just food. Grilled cheese sandwiches, iceberg lettuce salad, burgers – that kind of stuff. But the place isn’t really well known for any particular dish albeit they say that their clam chowder is home made. So I give 3 for average food. The older lady that serves sometimes is the owner as well and is quite grumpy every time Ive went here. I like waitresses that have a nice smile and a semblance of a personality – preferably happy. This one lacks both. There are better places nearby but it will do in a rush and it seems clean.
