The food is decent and not the best pho place. Shrimp summer roll and bao bun are ok. The vermicelli doesn’t taste that good and it’s best seller according to the menu. Also little too spicy for my taste. Pho noodle soup is not bad but not enough noodles in such big bowl.

The food was very disappointing, we ordered 2 veggie pho – did not eat most of it. The broccoli was spoiled, noodles were just a big lump. Veggies were really overcooked and tasted off. Ordered the pork appetizer, just alot of pepper and not great. The cucumber on the vermicelli bowl was also spoiled…really need some serious quality control. Did point it out, apologized and no actions taken. Do not recommend and will not be going back.

I was blessed at having a perfect opportunity to come visit for the first time. The day warm and windy. The restaurant was empty expect the cook, front gal, and myself. The restaurant was so inviting for being so alone. The seats are large and cozy, the broth was uplifting, the lemonade was incredibly refreshing… I had a beautiful experience. To add to my visit, the visual aspect helped as well. The dishes they use (cups, plates, bowls, etc.) Add to the ambiance of different colorful hanging lanterns and wooden sea creatures. And they have a happy hour special!! Yay!

I want to start off by welcoming Pho Viet USA to Bethesda, wish you the best of luck. I believe Pho is one of those dishes best experienced dining in at the restaurant but these are now the times we live in so takeout is what we get. That being said I really enjoyed my first time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered the summer rolls with shrimp and an all white meat chicken pho. The summer rolls were fresh, shrimp were quality size and packed tight. The peanut sauce that it came with was delicious, especially when you add a little sriracha for kick. The pho like another reviewer touched on, was large in quantity. The broth was full of flavor and they provided plenty of noodles. The part that was lacking was the amount of chicken. The quality of the chicken was very good but it was minimal. That’s why I’m giving four stars. When you’re dealing with takeout you have to build a trust because the customer really doesn’t know what they are getting until they are finally home and can look at the order. I also try to be fair, this is only a first order review. I do my best to update my reviews to keep them accurate and if my experiences change with my future orders I will change my rating. I want to be clear, I definitely recommend trying this place because the food is quality and full of flavor.

We attended a pre-opening menu release party and found exciting new dishes based on traditional Vietnamese foods. The soups are rich and complex enhanced by the rich beef broth. The fresh summer rolls are stuffed with seafood, tofu, or chicken making them a great appetizer or on-the-go meal. Overall, lots of new and exciting dishes and look forward to their grand opening.
