I haven’t had good soul food in a while. Catfish, sweet potatoes & collard greens. Seasoned & tasted like grandma was in the kitchen herself! I didn’t care for the cornbread. If it doesn’t taste like cake, I don’t want it. To each his own, though. They have quite a menu selection of fried fish, chicken, lamb, seafood, subs, along with sides. I wasn’t too impressed with the lemon drop from the bar. It was half a cup literally. They do offer take out as well as dine in. It’s a trendy atmosphere, sports on the flat screen & music. A cozy vibe for a dinner date, friends, family, or solo. Very welcoming atmosphere. The bar tender was handing out shots, a nice little touch.

Nothing short of AMAZING! The food was so good I couldn’t believe it. Literally. Walked in and was greeted by the bartender IMMEDIATELY! Impressive. Our food was packaged nice and tight. They ran down what they do on the weekends too and invited us back. I loved the vibe coming in the door.

I really wanted to like this place after Reading all of the reviews. It said that the food was absolutely amazing and I guess everything is relative in a sense….. I ordered the Turkey wings, mac and cheese and greens. The greens were extremely salty and the Mac and cheese was a little bit dry but not much flavor. The Turkey wings were very good, and the yellow rice was pretty good as well. We also ordered the fried chicken wings and an order of candy yams and an additional order of mac and cheese. The chicken wings were Overcooked and seemed as though they were fried in old grease. The candy yams were good but just way too sweet. It was a little late when I ordered so I will try them again because I love to patronize black owned businesses. The wait staff was very nice and the interior was cozy and very clean and welcoming….

I can only rate the food because I ordered off of Grubhub. The quality of the food was ok but it was tasteless. My collard greens had the same taste as my broccoli which both tasted like nothing.

Got this on my second visit. Seafood platter was def a 10/10 . Once u try this spot you’ll be a regular that’s word . First time I got the lambchop dinner and fried catfish dinner another 10/10 . I asked for lamb chops blackened and they came out perfect. The vibe is always cool and the staff is friendly and respectful always . I never leave reviews this my first one and the food was so good I had too

I have eaten from here before and just as the food was amazing last time, it was again this time. I truly enjoyed the catfish, macaroni and cheese and sweet potatoes( they were exceptional by the way). I will be going here again in the future. I also like when your food is ready they send you a text and they remember your name. Great Black Owned establishment. Keep up the good work.

Best soul food I have ever had! I had the whiting & shrimp with collard greens and cabbage and OMG!!!!! I’m still drooling! My daughter had a simple cheesesteak and said it was the best she ever had! My friend had the whiting collards and yams and he’s in love!! The waitresses are beautiful and their personalities are just as beautiful the atmosphere is nice and welcoming, very clean and classy. Good music. Will definitely be back and will recommend.
