We ordered two mojitos. They came with very close to zero sweetness. Just a tall glass of soda, a BUNCH of big mint leaves, that hadn’t been muddled, and cheap headache inducing rum. I politely asked the waitress if I could have a small glass of simple syrup to sweeten my drink, and she took both our drinks back to the bar. They came back with zero change in sweetness. At the end of the meal (my kids were eating pizza, me an my wife only came for a drink), my drink was sitting there full and I asked to have it taken off the check. The waitress didn’t care, argued with me and let it on the check.

Really love portofino restaurant in bethel ct, we’ve been coming to this location for years, yes we’re locals our favorites are : fried calamari, Cesar salad with grilled chicken was amazing( amazing juicy chard chicken) wifey had beet salad with fried goat cheese, it as spectacular, MiL had Tucson salad has pecans , fig , gorgozola cheese, so delicious . Would highly recommended this location..

Our favorite Italian restaurant in the Bethel area. Never disappoints. They catered our son’s BHS football team pasta party and satisfied 55 hungry boys. They all claimed the best pasta and meatballs they ever had and I have to agree. Great job.
