Went looking for a nice family owned restaurant after a day of golf and found this place. Sweat tea was great and the burger was excellent. Service was sweet and quick I would highly recommend trying this place out. Surprised by the cracked chicken by how it exceeded our expectations. Potato salad and fried squash were also flavorful.

Good comfort food, went on a Friday got country fried steak and gravy, Mac and cheese and turnip greens. Food was cooked right got to the table in time and the young lady who was our waitress was very attentive to keep our drinks topped off and made sure we didn’t need anything else.

The service was quick and staff was very sweet, however the food was the most bland thing I’ve ever tasted. Everything is straight from the can to your plate, no seasonings on ANYTHING. Even the gravy doesn’t taste like normal gravy and has no flavor, both white and brown gravy (if that’s what you can even call brown gravy). Mac n cheese, bland. Green beans, bland. Pintos, bland. Corn bread wasn’t giving either. Salmon Pattie’s tasted home made and were the only thing with flavor those turned out good. If you like salt and peppering everything to death or like veggies straight from the can to your table you’ll love this spot. Maybe they’re non meat and 3 plates are where their hidden talents lie, I will never know however.

Hi this is Loretta, this place is excellent we stumbled across the place when we saw a Bigfoot sign where it used to be auntie Anne’s now it’s not its Mama Meg’s the breakfast is excellent I haven’t got to eat the dinner plates yet that I know that the I know that that’s a breakfast is the bomb!!!! If you haven’t tried them please go and try them they’re very good they’re all family-owned and it’s a wonderful place to eat talk and just enjoy yourself great food great service great overall five-star y’all see you again!!!!!! I forgot to mention I dined in and took out.

I could not eat the food. Told them I could not. The smell alone was not good. The green beans had been cooked in what smelled and tasted like old vegetable oil. The pasta in the Mac and cheese was like mush it was so overcooked and the cheese sauce was tasteless. The meatloaf was dried out and crunchy and not in a good way.
