Extremely satisfying first visit to Zona Rosa. Within a few minutes of being seated at the bar, the bar staff treated several bar patrons to a taste of a watermelon margarita that they were testing out. Hope they add this to their rotation!dangerously refreshing. The hibiscus margarita that I did order was just as delectable. It was a favourite of the bar team, and after some dialogue, they offered to customize it to spice it up a notch. It was balanced, not too sweet, and was a sight to behold with the fresh orchid as garnish.

Zona Rosa is an exceptional Mexican restaurant that offers amazing cocktails, excellent service, and good vegetarian options. The staff is super knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming, the drinks are top-notch, and the vegetarian dishes (even though few options) are flavorful and creative. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Mexican cuisine. The warm and inviting ambiance, with beautiful decor and lively music, adds to the overall experience. They also have the best Guac.

Atmosphere was enviting, we sat outside. The food took a little long to come but was flavorful and fresh. The micheladas were a little on the small side for $6.00, I doubt you can fit a 12 oz beer in the cup. We ordered the chips and salsas they were different one sweet, one spicy, one not sure it was a salsa. We ordered Chimchurri tacos on blue corn tortillas, the were plentiful and good. The veggie butternut squash and goat cheese quesadillas wee good also. Thank you

Authentic adobe interior and real cantina feel with wait staff who love Zona Rosa. Music inside a bit too loud for group conversation (we had a large group and waited to sit outside), but everything else was great.

This was a great place to have brunch, and we will definitely be back. We ordered the Huervos y Papas and the ZR Potato Hash, and both were delicious. We also got the Dark Chocolate Chip Banana Crumb Cake, and it was great! The inside is so cozy and nice, and all of the employees were friendly.

Zona Rosa stands out amongst so many great Mexican restaurants in San Jose. The small and modest setting is elegantly detailed with tasteful decor which alludes to the quality of the food served within. The food and cocktails alone stand amongst the best I have had in the South Bay. Boasting as a neighborhood scratch kitchen, Zona Rosa truly surpasses expectations with its amazing quality, its great staff, and a creative Chef that has me excited to return soon to taste the latest menu items.

Heard great things about this restaurant. The host/server wasn’t very friendly. He said, since we didn’t have a reservation we had to sit on the front patio closest to the street. There were some empty tables inside. The street noise was pretty loud. The chairs were small and very uncomfortable. They obviously have those, so you don’t stay long. My margarita was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. I had the veggie enchiladas and they were quite good.
