I chose to celebrate my husband’s birthday with a more intimate dinner experience and Il Lusso was the perfect place to be. The food, the ambiance, the staff, even the sun setting in our window gave us an unforgettable night of fine dining. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Went for nephews Grad dinner so we grabbed a lot of starters. No one complained and the Misto Frito was really good. Sister and I tried Grouper Piccatta and agreed we would get it again. Our party of 8 was completely content. Service was noticeably good. Cheesecake dessert was a little small and the prices on everything were a little big. All in all a nice, pleasant evening.

This was my first time trying authentic Italian cuisine, and it exceeded my expectations. The service was overall pleasant. The servers were charismatic and very knowledgeable of the entire menu. I decided to get the seafood mezzaluna and squid ink mafaldine. Both dishes were delicious. Cooked to perfection, and served aesthetically. I will definitely be returning. Had an amazing experience at Il Lusso! Our server, Christian, was phenomenal – he was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a wonderful dining experience. But what really stood out was the local knowledge and recommendations provided by Chelsea. She provided great insight into the Tallahassee area and recommended some must-do activities.

Service was awesome, our table was small and too close to the table next to us. The charred octopus was spot on delicious and the baked Alaskan dessert was very good. I ordered the N.Y. strip it was overcooked on the crust otherwise it was flavorful.
