Very good plate lunch for a fair price. I got the Teri chicken and Teri pork. Both were awesome. My wife got the Teri chicken and pork belly. They know how to do pork belly right. Great meal! Would absolutely come back again. Thank you, IPPYS!

So friendly. Amazing food with huge portions with good prices. All the meats were grilled and had grill marks and yummy flavor. Portions were generous and we took lots home. Nice selection from bar with ice cold beer and hard seltzer on tap from Hawaiian breweries.

We saw Ippy on BBQ Brawl and we were super excited that his restaurant was on the Big Island!!! Super yummy food. Quick service. Clean. Large seating area for our very large group. It only would’ve been better if we had seen Ippy himself!! We will definitely return on our next visit back to Waimea and the Hawaii.

After coming here unplanned, the food and service was great! The garlic chicken was delicious and the pulled pork was great. It was one of the best places on the big island we have been after having been here for a week! The prices are great for the value and the atmosphere and service is very friendly. We could come again if we were here longer!

This was the best meal I had on the Big Island on this trip. That’s saying a lot because we ate at some pretty pricey restaurants in Waikoloa Village Kona and Waimea. Our cashier/server, Hula, gave such great recommendations for mixed plate combos. The ribs from their smoker menu items did not disappoint. The meat just fell off the bones! Sauce wasn’t sickeningly sweet. The katsu was tasty, and I paired it with grilled garlic shrimp. The smoked then crispy fried pork belly was amazing! Unfortunately, some of the items Hula suggested were not available that day. So she gave us something else on the menu to try for free! If that doesn’t represent the aloha spirit of the islands, then I dont know what does! This place is definitely worth revisiting on the next trip. Hoping they continue to thrive!

Stopped in for two Hawaiian style mixed plates, and Ippys did not disappoint. The batter mahi was awesome, and the kalua pork was delicious. Staff was amazing!
