I love Schlotzsky’s. One of my favorite places. Hadn’t been since I moved to Marksville, LA from Texas. Was out with friends that had never been. The bread was as if it had just been sitting out for days. Not at all what I am used to from Texas Schlotzsky. The bathrooms were a disgusting mess. Very disappointing. Never experienced food like this from Schlotzsky ever before.

Great place for a quick bite to eat. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The employees are friendly and personable. The new manager, Tony, is professional, friendly and makes great effort to know the customers and their names. I personally get the cheese original with jalapeño chips. These chips are honestly the absolute best! I’d buy them in a huge bag if available.

We live in Ruston and travel frequently by this location. The food is always fresh and delicious but the last two times we have stopped to eat we have been seriously disappointed in the service. Twice we have observed the older Caucasian lady working in the food prep area to be loud and disrespectful. We were finally served after 35 minutes of waiting and behind at least 3 customers that ordered after us. The attitude of the lady was rude and seemed to be unaffected by the poor service.

I love going to this cracker barrel. The shopping area an large inventory is fun to browse thru. The dining room is always laid back an has a homey comfortable feel.
