One of the best Korean restaurant in the valley where you can get a hot stone bowl tofu soup with an egg while the soup is still boiling. Or my favorite satay squid with vegetable soak in traditional Korean red sauce make sure you ask for extra napkin because it could get pretty spicy and don’t let me start on the short ribs. The best way to go is take friends and family so everybody can try a little bit of everything because of portion is huge. Love this place

We have been going here as a family since my 15 & 12 year old were little (1& 4). It was our comfort food. When things went wrong or something great happened this is where we would go. It was our happy place. In 2020, we stopped going as often as we once did and the last few times the food wasn’t great the way it used to be. Things were more expensive which I equated to the times. The food looked nothing like it did (not remotely appetizing) and I thought I’d gotten a bad batch. But unfortunately the food keeps getting worse. I understand new changes need to be made to be relevant, but changing things that worked and were loved from the side dishes to the well known tofu soup to even the rice makes long term customers not want to return. My kids realize now that those were childhood memories at their favorite restaurant and that’s all they’ll be because this is no longer the same place despite having the same name.

I tried yookgaejang and my wife tried seollungtang. Both of them really great! Owner’s family is very friendly and kind.

Wanted takeout and knew what we wanted, but didn’t know owners changed because been few months since last ate here. Some dishes changed and or weren’t available anymore, but the new owners were so patient and nice to us. We placed our new order and left with our food with a pleasant experience. At home, the food were all so good and for once the spicy dishes were actually spicy with full flavors. Closest to reminding me of my late mom’s cooking and promise to eat there again! Thank you for the wonderful treatment and fantastic food!

This restaurant provides the best Korean food in Phoenix in my experience. The soup was tasty and beef was tender. Will definitely visit again.

This place is great! Super authentic Korean cuisine, clean environment and fast, efficient service. I always get their tofu soup, what they are best known for, and I think it’s one of the best in the valley!

Taste was average but the food was obviously overpriced. But what made our experience worst was the tip calculation and the owner’s attitude during the process. They charged you whatever tip percentage of the food + tax +credit card convenience fee when you actually paid. But on the paper check, it was only the percentage of the food price only. We only found this difference after the payment. While the owner explained it was a machine glitch, she appeared personally offended and kept saying ‘we don’t need your tip’ in an angry tone, making us looked like the unreasonable troublemakers. This is horrible.

It was my first time trying Korean cuisine. I had the beef and broth meal that they have pictured on the menu. It was delicious! Also, the rice is of a purple variety. It tastes just like white rice though, possibly even better than white rice.

Found my favorite Korean soup place in town. My personal favorite is seolleongtang and their tofu soup… I mean I can’t recommend enough. My husband and I missed good Korean soup dishes in AZ after our move from Seattle! And we found one! Definitely check it out!!

New owner took over, the short ribs dish has tons of fat and flavor is blend, we used to pay $18 now under new owner cost $28. It has only 7 pieces of short ribs. What a rip off, never going back. We used to eat here all the time but no more!
