I enjoyed the barbecue plate today. However what stands out is the Brunswick stew which is excellent. I also enjoyed the coleslaw. The wait staff was attentive and gave good service. The only thing is, it’s a very loud place and it’s very hard to hold any kind of normal conversation. That being said it was the height of the lunch hour and they were packed out. Understandable, since it’s a very small place. Overall I would return. If you’re in LaGrange and you want barbecue, you gotta try it.

New. management has really upscaled this place since being here. The restaurant just looks clean from top to bottom! New menus! And as always, great tasting food! The Super Q BBQ sandwich was more than enough to fill me up! And the baked beans tasted great!

Good place to eat. Servers are super nice . The food is sometimes slow to come out but worth the wait. Can’t say I’ve had a bad experience there. It could use updating and the bus guy should actually clean and sanitize the tables rather than just picking up the dishes. It would really help the servers and customers .

It just feels like home when you eat in. Like things used to be in a small town. I really appreciate their daily lunches. They are all delicious! My favorite food to have there is the catfish plate! It is amazingly tasty! All of the employees seem to be polite and kind. Service is excellent!

Drive by this restaurant and the parking lot was full and a line of people waiting to place to-go orders. An absolute sign that the food is delicious. I ordered three rib dinners with different sides for two people. I ordered three because the price was so fair I didn’t believe there would be many ribs. I was happily wrong. The BBQ ribs were fall off the bone, lick your fingers divine! We haven’t had good southern ribs in a long time. We found them here. All the sides were wonderful, we like the cole slaw and baked beans the best. Each dinner came with a piece of garlic toast that was scrumptious. Toasted perfect, not too strong, buttery garlic goodness. We had two people eating and tasting each side and still had over one and a half dinners left over. The staff was kind, generous, and helpful. If you are traveling within one or two hours of this restaurant, take the detour, I promise you will not be disappointed.

I have only been twice but both times the food was really good. Chicken strips are awesome (hand breaded the way I like). Onion rings are good as well. Last time I went I got the fried green tomato sandwich and it was better than I expected. And I must say the corn on the cob was the best I ever had at a restaurant. Service was awesome and the atmosphere was relaxing can’t wait to go back and try something new.

Food was decent. Came from out of town and stopped here for dinner. Missing a star because food took longer than most places and portions were pretty small. But catfish was really good and people were super friendly. Props to outstanding customer service 🙂

Had the BBQ chicken sandwich for lunch… it was awesome! The slaw and fried okra were on point as well. Honestly this was my first time as I always go to Country’s (yes delicious) but I tried to call in an order but the hood was longer than the time it took to get there and then so busy I just stood there… decided to go try Rogers and so glad I did! The service was as wonderful as the food! My new fav and I can have the veggies since they don’t have ham in them (which I’m allergic to)

Must be patient before dining here, it can take a while during lunch/dinner times. Apart from the long wait times, the food is delicious. From grilled chicken to the slaw dogs I’ve enjoyed everything from this establishment so far.

The overall experience here was outstanding! We are a family of 4 and ordered the BBQ Sampler and the Rib and Fish Plate. All of the food was delicious and my 9 year-old stated that the catfish filets were “the best fish filets I’ve had in my life”. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food did take a while to get to the table as mentioned in previous reviews, but it is well worth the wait!!!
