My wife Pam and I stopped at Fazoli’s in Ankeny on our way to pick up some items at the new Costco Store. I was craving pasta so I ordered their Spaghetti with meatballs and marinara sauce. Every time we’ve eaten at this location it’s been a good experience, the staff is always friendly and helpful and the food superb. Our orders came quickly and as expected were delicious, right to the very last bite. This Fazoli’s must be well managed, as its always clean and consistently excellent every time we’ve eaten there. I give them my heartiest recommendation.

Young lady was the only person working at the time. She took orders and prepared everything. Still got everything done and to all the customers in a timely manner. Did all this work and Still had a smile on her face and stayed positive.

The food is always really good, service is suffering due to under staffing. They are doing well considering the under staffing. they could pay more to get more help to give faster service. That would force them to raise prices significantly. THAT WOULD SUCK!!!

Only after our purchase did we learn they have no ice and no tea. This isn’t the first time at this location. Staff mentioned to another guest they are doing the work of 6 employees as an excuse for not having some things in order. Housekeeping very poor. A gas station was two businesses down that they could have purchased ice to solve one problem. furthermore, the men’s bathroom was out of order. Very poor management at the ankeny, iowa location.

Unlimited breadsticks? There were plenty of workers and it wasn’t super busy, but we had to go to the counter to ask for more breadsticks 2 times. First time they said they would bring them out to us, they never did so I went back up to ask again. One employee made a face like I was disrupting them.

I’d like to thank the management team for accommodating the group of 26 athletes, coaches, and myself last night. I also want to thank the patrons that had to deal with the loudness in addition to delayed but still swift service due to our presence. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal outside of an individual that ordered a spicy meal instead of a regular dish. It was a warm comfortable atmosphere that made our visit worth the stop.
