Don’t be deceived by the photos. Vegetables are not fresh. The meat tastes weird. I don’t think they focus on fresh condiments, and they are overpriced for small portions.

Portions were very small, barely any chicken in kung pao, heavy breaded with cornstarch, deep fried instead of traditional kung pao. And chicken and vegetables were deep fried and oil laden, made my wife sick. Look at that puddle of oil, yuck!

This used to be one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in town. They either have a new cook or are under different ownership. Tonight may have been my worst experience yet. The calamari appetizer was bland and mushy. The shrimp and garlic sauce was horrible. Greasy, bland, and barely any shrimp. The only good part of this experience was the customer service which was above average.

Excellent Chinese food in the area! My husband and I used to Northern VA quality food and we were impressed with Panda Garden. Don’t worry about the negative reviews – this is a solid spot for standard Chinese food fare. The hot and sour soup rocks (don’t recommend the wonton soup) as well as the orange chicken, Hunan chicken, and the egg rolls are nice and crisp. They are very friendly as well! Portions are great, although they are served in a rectangular container instead of the familiar round. Highly recommend for great Chinese takeout!

Finally gave this place a try since it’s closer to where we live and it was a total let down. Had to throw away a whole order of combination lo mein because the shrimp tasted disgusting. It was so old and just because something is sitting in the freezer doesn’t mean it’s still good. The beef and broccoli ordered extra spicy wasn’t spicy and the broccoli was over cooked to the point of mush. Will not be ordering food here again.

Ordered online through their website. When I went to pick up my order, they had a note on the door that said their hours had changed and they were closed at the time I went to pick up. Went back online to make sure I had not made a mistake to find out that they have not updated their website to reflect their current hours. On top of that, i was still able to make a new order for today because i was there before the hours posted on the website. The owner has a note on their door to say they have low staff so they are unable to have standard business hours, but can’t take the 30 minutes to update the website on the Monday (which is now a closed day) with the correct hours. Lazy and unreliable. This is not the first issue I have had with them. Previous orders have had missing items and under filled containers. This will be the last time I purchase anything from this company.

The food is decent, if you can get it the way you’ve asked for it. A person in our group can’t have onion, we made a note on the online order, confirmed it with the person at pickup, was assured there would be no onion, and once we are home…their order was chock full of onions. Just incredibly frustrating. So, if you have any special dietary needs or allergies, don’t be encouraged by the options to disclose them on the website. It’s my belief that they are ignored.

Honestly will never eat here again, the food quality was beyond awful. My girlfriend got the Shrimp fried rice, the vegetables were obviously frozen as well as the shrimp was rubber from freezer burn, i got the general chicken, the chicken was old and tuff and some spots were really soft and almost undercooked. The broccoli served with it was turning brown and looked as if it had been sitting in a prep pan in the kitchen for 3-4 hours. We got a crab rangun as the appetizer and every single one of them were overfried. Literally couldn’t bite into the tops of the rangun. For such an expansive menu, it is obvious this resturany needs to focus on quality, not quantity. Wouldn’t recommend.

My daughter just recently relocated to the area. We’re connoisseurs Chinese food. This place has definitely been around a long time and could do with a serious makeover. It’s the egg rolls that stole my heart. Old fashioned crunchy outside and flavorful inside egg rolls. Don’t change them please.
