Great neighborhood spot! Friendly staff, authentic decor from Mexico. The food was so fresh and made with few ingredients- You could really enjoy the flavors. The fresh guacamole was probably the best that I’ve ever had- so delicious. There was just the right amount of cilantro and lime- it was so savory! We never leave a Mexican restaurant without enjoying fried Ice cream!!! It was a little different than we’re use to, but just as good! I’ll definitely have it again.

Today was my 10th time coming here. It WAS my favorite place. I’m upset, because not ever coming back. I walked in and it smelled like sewer. My food kinda tasted like that smell, needless to say I did not eat it. Wasted my money. The server came out 2 times and never again. I had to walk in to get service and the other guy seemed to be frustrated with the younger boy with pearcings on his place. I asked for my check and that took 20 min. I had to go in and ask again. There was a lady standing in there just like I was. Waiting, I told her to go somewhere else, she did. And I explained why. She was waiting way too long just like I was. I’m sad because I have to find a new spot. No women servers I guess makes this place a flop.

Love this place for great Mexican food and good margaritas. We’ve been coming here since we moved to the Wakefield area over 2yrs ago. On Tuesdays they do have 1.25 tacos either soft or hard.

Mediocre at best. I ordered a lunch steak fajitas, and the food took a little longer than I thought it should have to come out. The dish was brought to my table by what I would assume was one of the managers. I told him this was supposed to be steak, and it had chicken on it. He immediately took it back and another 10 or more minutes brought out another plate which had the steak but as I had ordered beans with the plate it had rice he took it back and to correct it again. When it came back out. The food was not as good as I expected. Seems like they can’t get their small plate orders correct when there’s no customers. I won’t be back. It’s hard to wash your hands to in the restroom when there’s no paper towels. Should have known the level of customer service would not be good.

Food was good but service was lacking. My server (MR) spent more time asking about my job and hair than actually serving us. Watched other servers do a great job. After waiting about 15-20 minutes for her to check on us and order fried ice cream (son’s first; he was excited), I asked another server and watched him tell her… 15 minutes later she sent another server over to ask “Did you order ice cream?” (I could see her just remember and go to the back to prepare…) After 30 minutes of waiting, we requested the check. Very unfortunate first visit. I get pandemic issues, but this was not the case… Other staff seemed to be more attentive. Maybe a good option for takeout or different server …

I scheduled a takeout order for a pickup time just before 7pm. The girl that took my order was great. When I got there, she greeted me and was very friendly. The man working takeaway barely acknowledged my existence but after a bit he did tell me that my order wasn’t ready. I waited for about another 10 mins for him to tell me it would be ready in a couple minutes. I waited another 10+ minutes for my food to be ready. This is all while watching many drive-thru orders being placed and fulfilled while I waited there. I don’t know what the system is there for drive-thru but it did seem curious. I received my food at 7:25. So, calling ahead was absolutely pointless as it would have taken the same amount of time (maybe even less?) to place an order in the restaurant and wait. What an utter waste of time.

First time trying this place after passing it thousands of times and I am so happy I finally stopped! Affordable, nice portions with friendly service! The food was flavorful without being overpoweringly spicy hot. I can’t wait to go back!
