Our family stopped in on our road trip, and are so glad we did! My husband and I both got omelets, and they were phenomenal. My husband burnt the roof of his mouth because he couldn’t wait for it to cool off to eat. They made a mistake on my husband’s, and even though he was happy with the omelet they served, they made him a new one to go. My kids loved their meals and the prices are unbelievable. Such an amazing stop!

Hot open face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes green beans and gravy was delicious. The Italian burger with mushrooms and grilled onions was little better than average fries were hot and crispy. The salad bar was excellent in spite of limited choices lettuce was cold crisp and fresh toppings were good and the pudding and apple sauce was good

We were here last night with some friends for dinner for the first time. We come quite a bit for breakfast and it’s always excellent. Dinner was right up there, too!

This place is a hidden gem! We have lived here for almost 9 years and just found this place a week ago and man let me tell you the food is great! The staff is amazing and we haven’t had wonderful food & service like that since pre-plandemic. The cooks are great at what they do. The price for the food you get is outstanding & you will definitely not leave hungry! In fact the 2 times we have eaten there, we had to get a doggie bag because it was just that much food! I can’t express enough how nice it is to have a family resteraunt to go to that is friendly, affordable, clean and such good eats! Thank you Madison Family Resteraunt & staff for bringing such fresh & great tasting food to the Madison/Geneva area. We will be back

We dine here frequently. It’s several steps above the typical mom and pop family restaurant. Sidorela and Tony make sure everything is fresh and delicious, as well as visually appealing. I highly recommend their specialty salads. The servers are efficient and pleasant, and the atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming.

I have been here a handful of times. I did try the breakfast buffet. I have not had lunch or dinner yet. But so far the service has been great. If it is busy sometimes you can wait a little longer. But I will definitely keep coming back.

This place has gona way down hill just in the few years I have lived in Madison. Last time I went here I had the all you can eat fish fry, and after a 40 minute wait I got cold fish. I gave it another try last night, because my fiance really wanted salad bar. To start it was hard to understand the waitress, which isnt a big deal, but her not refilling our drinks was. We were excited to see they had an Italian bar going on. This was about 6:15, and dinner should have been in full swing but there was about 14 people in there. Most seemed to be in the retirement range, and there was a couple of middle aged guys at one of the tables. We got the salad bar and Italian buffet. Big mistake. Before we even got our soup we noticed Flys buzzing around. I have worked in restaurants before, and I know that bugs can be a problem and need taken care of immediately before it becomes a problem. Apparently it doesn’t matter to them. We got up to the bar, and the food looked old, really old. I figured what the hell and tried it anyway. My fiance had a plate of the Alfredo sauce on noodles, and started getting a stomach ache before we even left. The food was luke warm at best. Food on a hot table should never be Luke warm, as it can make people sick. It’s a health code violation. Most of the food was dried out, and it all tasted like frozen food. None of it tasted like the home made food advertised in there mission statement, but all tasted like it was poured from a can or defrosted and tossed out onto the table. The salad bar was worse. The Cole slaw was brown, and when the waitress dropped new cucumbers on it, a cloud of knats swarmed up from the table. Not a few, but a whole lot. It was gross. I will not return again, and I do not recommend it.
