Came here cause I peeped them on IG. Got the chicken and waffles. It was good but wasn’t giving chicken and waffles. It was wings and waffles. The waffles were dry and they don’t give syrup so that doesn’t help. The wings were good I think the best flavor is the honey garlic. Food was literally a 2/10. The only reason it’s getting a 2 is because the shrimp was good. Other than it would’ve been a 0. Chicken wings are WAAAAAY too big for my liking. I only ate the flat pieces which were only 2 of them. I tried one of the drums and it tasted too meaty for my liking.. as if it wasn’t cleaned properly. Mac & Cheese was dry & undercooked. The place was packed but I ordered online so I didn’t have to deal with that. Honestly if you can’t handle a crowd to maintain consistency within the quality of your food .. you shouldn’t own a restaurant. Would not recommend! $30 down the drain.

So pissed I ordered for the first time today thru Uber eats I was in Elizabeth visiting and I got all this good looking food and couldn’t eat it it was so salty it was unbearable to eat. Anybody that know me know I cook and I eat and I love to explore eating at different establishments. This one right here terrible I also called to let them know and tried to get a refund the guy who didn’t give a name took my phone number and name and said they will call me back. I ordered around 3:30pm so whoever the cool lighten up on the salt or get out the kitchen! This when I got and what’s left.

This is very much bad eats, the broccoli is veryyyy over cooked and so mushy. Mac n cheese taste box Mac and lacks savory. The first just smells fishy and have way more breaded skin than fish. Taste like fish was not seasoned. Shrimp over cooked as well.

First time visiting here! I would say social media looks are deceiving everything looks great with good camera. Didn’t taste my food yet . But I ordered fruity pebbles waffles with add on of Cinnamon Toast Crunch & wings. I paid extra for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch but they forget the fruity pebbles! Customer service horrible no one paying attention clearly. Bf upset he waited for his food for long instead of calling the name they put it on a shelf and we were sitting waiting the whole time. So hard trying to support black business because they always lack professionalism!!! If it wasn’t for my bf already being mad he waited long for his plate. I would have checked my plate before leaving. Very disappointed. Hopefully the food tastes as good as it looks! WE MUST DO BETTER !!!

Waited over an hour for order. They work on online orders before people in the store. They need more staff working for sure! The food wasnt really worth that long wait taste wise. I really wish I had a better experience. The employee did apologize but at the point I got my food, I would’ve even be glad to just get a refund. Man this place was on my bucketlist a long time too

I would give this place a four-star review, but the wait time for your food is disgusting. I waited over an hour and a half for wings, mac & cheese, and corn on the cob. What I noticed is that they take their online orders more serious than their orders in the store so those online order get done first what got me upset Was the fact that people ordered after me and still got their food before me this was my first time as a customer here and it was a terrible wait experience the food however is good was it worth the wait NO!

This food was absolutely amazing! It was worth the hour trip to stop by and pick it up. I’ve wanted to come by for a while and was able to make it over here. Absolutely loved the Yams, the Mac and cheese was spot on, and the shrimp and wings were cooked to perfection for me. So much food and worth every penny! I also had to get a side of strings beans that were also very flavorful, to say the least, and their jazz punch to complete the meal. I’ll most certainly be back for another dish soon!

Not the best place to dine in, as far as parking and atmosphere, but the food is absolutely amazing. If you can order ahead I would suggest doing so, because it actual home cooked food it takes about 25 mins depending on what order. I had the baked salmon and Mac and cheese with yams and it doesn’t disappoint. The chicken and waffles are always made to perfection as well.
