Me and my fiancé ordered a oxtails and ribs entree. When I say everything was awesome and seasoned to the T…. I live in Jacksonville Florida and would to see you guys open a restaurant there. We don’t have good soul food in Jacksonville.. if you haven’t tried it yet than do so! Also they are not stingy with the food so that’s a plus!

I had to give them 5 stars. Their food was so tasty and delicious. I would definitely recommend. If your looking for some southern style food Blue Flame is the place to go. The staff is very friendly. It was my husband & I first time going and we loved it. We both got the oxtails. Good vibes And good food. Don’t sleep on them. Check them out . You won’t be disappointed.

Finally got to visit Blue Flame today. First impressions in the door, clean, friendly and inviting. There was no lack of choices to choose from. I went with yellow rice, Mac n cheese, collard greens and oxtail. All dinners come with a tasty, moist corn muffin. It was delicious! If I could have changed one thing, it would be, no sugar in the greens please, that’s just my preference. The Banana Pudding Cake was great, nice and moist. The banana pudding was good to. My nephew Jagger enjoyed his meal of, yellow rice, mac n cheese, corn, meatloaf and corn muffin. The servings are beyond generous and everyone was so very friendly. Check it out, you’ll love it .

RESPECT!!! This review is more for the staff. I visited, Sat Aug 19, 2023, late afternoon between 3:30 & 4pm. It was of course an assembly line 3 ladies. 1 – gives the sides, 2 – gives the meat and 3 – the cashier. Lady 3 was fusing at lady 2 about an order. 2 is clearly embarrassed and thrown off. She steps to the back to gather herself and replace an item. ( she did the right thing ). Lady 2 gets it together and proceeds with the task at hand.

My first there and I had oxtail yellow rice cabbage and Mac and cheese! Husband had turkey wings and daughters had wings! Everything was so good and tasty! I cleaned the plate! It was packed on Sunday! I will definitely be back! Love Black Service at it’s finest

I ordered my food on line because I saw the reviews for the difficult parking. When I arrived the lady at the corner just looked like she did not want to be there. Very little interaction with the greeting and closing. After I got home my food the sides was wrong for the entrees. In addition, the corn bread was not included. Which had me annoyed a little because I wanted to try it and it was part of the meal. The food was good but extremely salty. I would not recommend this place for a person with high blood pressure because it will go through the roof. The flavor of the food was very good.

Environment was good! Staff was friendly! Food was ok, sides were tasty but the oxtails and turkey wings could have used a lilbit more soul to it! Cakes aren’t the best… kinda basic but over all it wasn’t too bad.

My friends and I all had the catfish which was delicious, a long with Mac and cheese, collard greens and the yam, we even got a side of fried chicken wings. Everything was delicious, the only thing is that the sides could have been a little warmer, but they were still delicious.
