We went to Destination Grille on a whim and were very surprised how large the restaurant/venue/whatever they do was. Everything seemed upscale and fancy- which is fine, but the food did not come through for us for the prices. The poke bowl was kind of blah. Food came out fast and our server was fantastic though. Apparently the kids menu says meals are $7 but they ring up $10….so beware. We won’t be back.

I was pumped to check out this restaurant with my family, but my experience turned out to be a letdown. I went for the fried chicken sandwich, but it came out undercooked and pink. The waitress Jade took the sandwich to the manager and then informed us that it could be replaced. So, I decided to give a bacon cheeseburger cooked medium-well a shot, but when it arrived, the inside was pink (not medium-well). Everyone else was done with their meals and i just wanted to go home at that point. When the manager finally came out she didn’t seemed very concerned. Didn’t get charged for the chicken sandwich but did for the messed up burger. For these prices I expected the food to be fully cooked. Ask for Jade she gave great service and did her best to fix the issues the cooks and lack of care on the managers part.

We went for the brunch on Sunday. We were greeted quickly and shown to our table. The atmosphere was appropriate for a Sunday noon and the dining room was about half occupied. Our server, a high school aged young man was friendly, attentive, accommodating and knowledgeable of the menu items.

Wow, and freaking Wow! John Ann and this cat named Ed, I’m pretty sure he is a celebrity! I swear I saw the guy on TV. But seriously, I had the salmon last Sunday, delish!! The building kinda looks like a compound….I’d gladly branch devidian myself here, and ward off any law enforcement entity just to have the scallops! Last Sunday they did run out of bacon for the bloody Mary bar…..but still…..I woulda given them 10 stars if i could!!! I’m up from Houston, working and have to say…….learn my Texas family on how service is conducted!! I feel right at home here. I appreciate all the love the staff showed me. I’ll see yall soon!!

I wish I could say better things about the food here. We had the corn dip appetizer…that was great definitely recommend. The salad I had, it had many brown lettuce leaves and and it was nothing good enough to order again. The lobster bisque corn chowder wasn’t good. It just wasn’t good at all. Very underwhelming. My friend had a shrimp pasta dish and she thought that was delicious. On a more positive note, the beverages are very good. I’d go there again just to sit at the bar for drinks. They definitely know how to make a great cocktail. They have a nice drink menu with some fun tropical drinks

I’ve been a couple of times for dinner and/or drinks. Happy hour available. Drinks are always good, the employees have always been engaged and nice but I’m not sure I can recommend the food, thus far. The DG fries are supposed to be like truffle fries but lacked the full truffle flavor. The lobster roll was ok but didn’t live up to the $28 price tag. There are others around the metro area. The destination burger was overdone and quite dry. The mac and cheese fell short of the recommendation. The Cobb salad was very good and the wedge was a good choice. But the pizza (pictured) was very disappointing. A large pizza came in around 10 inches ($18). The dough was undercooked and was very salty. We were unable to finish more than a slice. Supposed to be a 6 cheese pizza with pepperoni but didn’t seem like anything more than a frozen pepperoni pizza. I followed up via email, no response. EDIT: They responded and offered to amke it right. I will update after my next visit.
