Block and Bottle is the premier wine bar and cheese shop in Mystic, CT. We are also a market that offers a variety of imported and domestic artisan goods. We source artisanal products that are not always available locally, including wine, cheese, charcuterie, tinned fish, preserved goods, and more. We also offer a small and rotating seasonal menu of small plates in our dining area and craft cocktails from our cocktail bar. Last but not least, we build custom or prepared cheese and charcuterie boards to go and for delivery.

We discovered this gem of a shop on a recent trip to Mystic. Not a restaurant, not a delicatessen & not a wine bar in the traditional sense. Just an inviting place to indulge in top quality charcuterie, cheeses, small plates & an excellent selection of wines. If you are lucky enough to be served by Justin, as we were, his product knowledge just made us appreciate the experience that much more. I can’t imagine anyone not being able to find something to their liking at the Block & Bottle. We even took a selection of meats & cheeses home with us and enjoyed it for lunch the next two days. 5 Stars !

What an amazing experience in the heart of downtown Mystic! We saw a sign at street level reading wine and cheese, so we walked up the stairs, and were sold the second we walked in to this spot. The hip, beautiful staff kindly welcomed us. Upon chatting, we learned they just opened two weeks prior.

Classy casual. Not sure if that’s a real term, but best describes the vibe. We checked it out mid week. The wine and food are high end and look to be very carefully curated. This is not a place to sit down for a large dinner, but a great place to go if you just want some great wine and small plates. Definitely a great addition to Mystic.
