Great food! The only reason I took off one star is because the house chips were just okay. Everything else was delicious.

This is a weekly staple, we try to go once a week to get the fish tacos and crema… The big honking burritos feed a family for two days. Mix in a big beer and it’s a great day. Good salsa and good chips

When the family leaves relatively untouched the chips and salsa, you know the dinner at a Mexican restaurant started out poorly. Unfortunately, this restaurant is long past it’s heyday. While the service is good, the food is only so-so. This local shop has been scratched off our family’s places to eat. (Actually we were giving it a second or maybe third chance.) Sorry La-Ha!

Standard Nashville Mexican restaurant. Big menu. Generous margarita pitchers. Love the water feature and the murals. Convenient location. In corner of Hillboro Road and Mack Hatcher.

After a long walk around Cheekwood, admiring blossoms and dodging others, I needed sustenance. La Hacienda to the rescue! I ordered two spinach enchiladas on wheat tortillas, with sour cream on the side. Perfect! Just the right amount to eat and take one home for later. I ordered a Pacifico as my beverage and was asked little one or big one? Big one, please! OMG, it was gigantic! Food excellent, service A1, atmosphere airy and comfortable. What’s not to like?!?

We just changed to this after leaving our fave spot. We tried 3 other places and this is the best so far. Service has been a little spotty, they don’t check back after dropping food off. Best salsa around! Atmosphere is awesome, reminds me of the Mexican restaurant at Epcot!

I met a friend there for lunch on a Thursday to the sounds and sites the southwest. We were seated at a booth next to the window offering a nice view of the parking lot. Chips and salsa arrived first, and then the iced teas. The tasty salsa almost made the dense chips palatable but the unsweetened tea tasted like it was run through a dirty sock. On a brighter note, my chicken fajita nachos were perfect minus the bell peppers as ordered. The portion was enough for six, especially with the huge bed of construction material the fajitas were laying on. Overall I enjoyed the experience although I’m not sure it would be my first choice for Mexican next time I have a craving.

Really disappointed in my first visit here, I was a party of 1 just trying to kill time before I needed to be somewhere. I got sat and waited 10 minutes before asking if someone could take my drink/food order. At the 13ish minute mark a server finally approached and asked what I wanted to drink. I said water but that I was also ready to order. She took my order (cheese dip and grilled chicken taco salad). Food came out pretty quickly but it wasn’t right, they put shredded chicken on it instead. Didn’t think much of it but when the bill came I was charged extra for the grilled chicken I ordered (but didn’t get) and they charged me for a sweet tea (when I only had water). When I asked about it they corrected it but that took an extra 10 minutes too. I was just hoping for a smoother experience and better service, oh well!
