Grayson is a “mom and pop” restaurant with southern style food, a family atmosphere and an extensive dessert menu. The waitress was super friendly and attentive, and service was fast. We had the hamburger steak, house salad, potato cakes, hot dogs with the works, potato salad, and coconut cream pie and red velvet cake for dessert. Everything was delicious and tasted homemade, especially the potato pancakes (best I’ve ever had). The pie was not a custard coconut pie, but it was still delish. The red velvet cake . . . a 25 out of 10!!! Portions and prices are reasonable. We’ll definitely be back!

Green beans were nothing but strings. They did substitute for me. Waited forever for a server. We were ready to order food with our drinks and was cut off at the drink order. I don’t think we will be going back!

The first time in this restaurant was in the middle of the day, we had breakfast. It was so fresh and delicious!! And their fried green tomatoes are divine!! Each time we eat there, our server is pleasant and checks on us, asking if everything is OK. This is a reasonably priced restaurant with home-cooked food.

I ate dinner and breakfast at this neat little family style restaurant. The menu was much more extensive than I had expected. The service was so friendly and attentive. The food was cooked just the way I asked for it. Both meals I ate there, even though many of the staff were not the same for both, the atmosphere it the place just made you smile. Lots of laughing, friendly banter, just made you feel right at home. Prices were very good as well! The only reason I didn’t eat more meals there was I felt obliged to try other places in town as well.
