Great food and coffee. We ordered two tofu burritos, home fries and coffee which were excellent. We waited about 10-12 minutes and enjoyed sitting inside. It’s a smaller restaurant but it also has a nice outside patio seating area that would be ideal when it’s nice outside. The service was good and it was well worth the relatively low cost (12 bucks a person). My only complaint is that the home fries had good seasoning and flavors but could have been slightly crisper – they were basically large thick cubes of potato that could have been smaller/thinner to help crispness. We will definitely stop by here again!

Really enjoyed this spot, the service was friendly, quick, and great value for your money. The sourdough French Toast was one of the better versions I’ve had around the area and the burritos are very solid as well. Great outdoor seating options if you want something more open. Staff were very friendly and Professional. Izzy made me feel very welcome and appreciated.

I had previously rated this place 5 stars but am amending based on two recent visits. In general the Firebird Cafe has gone downhill in my opinion. The food was served on a paper plate, with plastic disposable utensils and a throw away plastic cup for my beverage. The food itself was disappointing. I have been coming here for years so my expectations were based on previous experiences. The eggs were overcooked, almost burnt and their homemade hot sauce which had always been awesome, was thin and watery now. There was nothing on the tables such as napkins, salt, pepper, ketchup…etc. Unfortunately this is no longer the great breakfast/lunch destination once I held in such high regard.

Do not order anything over easy or with any kind of sauce! All breakfast was served on paper plates that soaked up over easy eggs and huevos salsa before we were half finished our meals. Not much flavor to either of the dishes we ordered. Felt like a food truck breakfast with a sit down restaurant prices.

Went to the bathroom to wash my hands and they gave my table away. Was told to sit outside. In the rain. Waited 30 minutes for coffee. Finally just got a refund and left. Total joke of a place. Also, I was the only brown person in the building. Funny how I lost my table for washing my hands.

Not sure what’s up with the food lately, I always used to loved it. My last experience was bitter burnt pork, dry, tasteless everything after I waited 20 minutes to get my horrible omelet. There was only a couple other people there I threw the whole meal out. Firebird needs to tighten up! They also need to ditch the paper plates and plastic utensils! Oh and turn the heat on inside! Awful

Visited the Firebird Cafe for the first time for brunch. The breakfast sandwich I had was delicious and the fruit I ordered as a side was fresh! The place is pretty small but I’ll definitely be stopping by once they’ve moved to their new location and expand a bit. (It would be nice if they had ice available! The water was fine but I think it might be a good idea to provide ice as well. I’m picky and prefer ice water )
