We called in a large order about 40 min before they closed . They were super accommodating and ready for the order. I was pleasantly surprised that they said the food would be ready in 20 minutes!! We had 6 different orders!! My friends and I showed up 20 minutes later, and they had welcoming smiles on their faces . After apologizing about ordering so close to close, they smiled and assured us they had no problem with it. They were super welcoming and super up beat. I really appreciate how good the food was and how welcoming the staff was.

I had a frozen banana margarita that tasted a little bit of banana. There was only one waitress taking all the orders. Our food came out longer than usual for a Mexican restaurant (all the ones I visit food comes out fast). The meal was tasty and I really enjoyed their refried beans.

One of my favorite places to go in benton city. The food is always fantastic. Also their strawberry lemonade is bomb. Great place to bring the whole family. They can be kinda pricey as far as drinks and sides though.

We lived in San Antonio, Tuscon and have traveled extensily in Mexico. This restaurant serves awesome salsas, horchata, authentic delicious offerings and has a comprehensive menu including seafood Mexican style. Some dished use bacon (tocino) so give your tastebuds a treat. We totally recommend Hacienda Del Sol! Today we had the delicious meals. My wife had the Carne Asada which is the beautiful presentation in the photo and I had the Puerco Carnitas. Carnitas is a difficult dish to get perfectly right. The pork roast is marinated in citrus and slow roasted to a tender juicy offering. I will show in photos how I make the Carnitas at the table. I order maize tortillas and spread a light coating of refried beans mixed with rice on the tortilla. Then I add sour cream and a little pico de gallo (comes with meal) then the pork is layered on thethe tortilla and topped with avacado rolled tightly and dipped in the special sauce so delicious. I asked Claudia about the sauce ingredients and she said it’s special and laughed. So it’s a secret but delicious. Hint is I detected cumin and tomatillo but ‍♂️. Check photos for step by step building of your Carnitas. Yummy

Food was average. Don’t order queso for the chips. They just brought a bowl of melted white cheese that firmed up as soon as it cooled enough to actually eat. Also their shots of tequila were 10$ each. For. One. Shot. Wasn’t expecting that.

Great food with real margaritas. Outside dining, so open during COVID. Pricey, but big portions and expected if you raise minimum wage.

I’ve dined in and I get take out. I’ve never had a bad experience. The food and the service were superb. The food is actually better than a lot of top rated Mexican restaurants in San Antonio Texas!
