The girl helping us didn’t seem to pay attention after asking what kind of rice we wanted. Gave me the wrong rice I reminded her and got it switched. I had to re tell her things several times necaise she seemed to kept forgetting, she was semi rude about it. Sat down to realize after asking if we wanted cheese on nachos she totally forgot it. I’ve been trying to find decent Mexican food on island and this isn’t it unfortunately. Rice was a bit dry, tacos are on flour tortillas and were fully covered on grease from the meat . Braised beef was decent just very greasy.

I have been wanting to go here for a very long time now. I think that OMG has a reputation of being the closest restaurant Hawaii has to offer to “Chipotle.” As a big Chipotle fan, I think that this would’ve been a hard expectation to meet, but OMG heavily exceeded my expectations! It’s the same set up as Chipotle- that you can choose a burrito, bowl, salad bowl, tacos, or otherwise and they’ll go down the line of fix-ins while you choose what you want inside (rice, beans, meat, etc.). I think I like the toppings offered more than those of Chipotle, the offerings of hot sauces, etc. The meats (and food in general) were all quite well seasoned (I got chicken + fajita vegetables). They also have a couple of more special/unique menu items that sounded very yummy and differentiated the restaurant from Chipotle (ie FISH TACOS?! :O). They also offer Margaritas/I believe a couple other alcoholic beverages- which I thought was awesome.

I’ve been here several times and the food and service are always very good. However, today it was very salty. Tasty but salty. I think it was the meat. I had the carnitas burrito and my wife had the chicken burrito. I’ll still go back.

Pre ordered our food thru their app. We were in Pearl City shopping when we ordered figured it would be enough time, but it wasn’t even ready when we arrived, none of it was ready. So we waited the girl try to prepare it quickly. Weirdly when we arrived home which is not very far from the shop, the tortilla chips were so soggy. I’m not sure why they don’t give you salsa on the side. It seems to be poured over onto the nachos. I just don’t get how it got so soggy so fast when she just prepared it like 5-10 minutes ago.

We ordered an array of food and they all were good and tasty. Made to order, the server asked what choices we wanted as all of the choices are in front for you to see behind the safety glass. There are many choices for your order. I ordered the burrito which is my favorite and it is a very good sized meal. I also ordered the chips and salsa. Our other guests liked their meals as well. I would recommend this restaurant.

I wanted nachos but tried the carne asada fries. Legit! One order was enough for 2 people and the order came with ALL the toppings one would expect on a Mexican themed carne asada fries plate. Most definitely will return again and again .
