We heard there was a new sushi place in town so we came to check it out and it did not disappoint! We got to meet the owner and im so happy we did. He was very passionate about quality sushi. If you’re looking for a fancy place to eat this would not be it but if you’re looking for beautifully prepared Delicious sushi then this is it! They have many spicy and non spicy options and my favorite was definitely the crispy rice with spicy tuna and their yellowtail jalepaneo with crispy onion. So good, can’t wait to come back!

We found this place on Yelp, and as usual, they didn’t steer us wrong. We ordered the salmon skin salad which was delicious! It was filled with crunchy skin, had just the right amount of dressing, and fresh greens. I will for sure order that again. San Pedro roll and the salmon skin roll were good as well. Lastly, we got the chicken gyoza, which I devoured as soon as it hit the table. The service was just average, but since they just reopened indoor dining, I won’t begrudge them that. Luckily, this place is close to home and not very expensive so I’ll be back! Next time, I’ll take some pictures.

I enjoyed the food very much at Ueno. They have a very large selection on their menu. I ended up ordering the tiger roll and the bacon wrapped shrimp and asparagus. Both were very good! The young lady that took my order had a very bright energy and even gave recommendations. I will definitely be visiting this establishment again. Currently, they closed outside dining, but they are still open for take out.

Absolutely top quality authentic sushi, nagiri, and you have to try the plum sake. We were showered with sake bombs the entire time and Victor was the best host. ✨ We will be making this place a regular when we come to Torrance. Thank you!!
