I can’t believe we haven’t been here before- trust me, stop looking for reviews and GO! It’s super cute and clean, locally owned, great service, not too loud, varied authentic menu, outdoor seating is an option. The food was delicious.

I had just eaten an uneventful dinner when I stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a shot.. I wasn’t that hungry so I mainly just wanted to look at the menu and have a margarita. After seeing the margarita and taking my first sip I instantly thought wow!!! Under promise and over deliver!! So I ordered five tacos and I honestly could not believe the quality of what I received for the price paid. I mean seriously top-notch meat with a single tortilla so you can actually taste the flavor of your protein and the homemade sauce. Yes the sauces were outstanding. I seldom order dessert, but the young man told me it was his grandmother’s recipe. I am so glad he is a Salesman because I actually did go ahead and order it. Hands down best Flan I’ve ever eaten and in the top 10 best all around desserts ever in my life. This is a must go to restaurant. Simple, great quality and unbelievable value!!!

The absolute best authentic Mexican restaurant in Salem! The drinks are beautiful and the service is amazing. If I could give them higher than 5 stars I would. I recommend the Chille Rellenos plate, as well as the poblano roasted soup.

Very friendly staff, clean area, the menu is easy to read, reasonable prices and not to mention the food is amazing and authentic! They have art for sale which is really cool. Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Salem. The service is great and the food is delicious. I’m a vegetarian so I always get the cheese enchiladas. They also have incredible cocktails (the El Jarito is a personal favorite).

This place is great has a yummy salsa that comes with your chips. Their shrimp tacos are very yummy they’re sautéed which I prefer. Their aguachiles are very fresh and tasty. Working my way through their menu slowly but surely.

We just happened upon this restaurant while looking for a different one, and are so glad we did. Excellent, fresh, delicious food – and a great margarita! We get Mexican a lot, and know the good stuff (originally from Arizona and California), and this was the best Mexican we’ve had in a LONG time! Highly recommend.

This was the best meal I have had in ages! I had the carnitas burrito with an absolutely delicious mole sauce. I could taste the individual ingredients of the pico de gallo and guacomole, which was so fresh and flavorful. They were a perfect compliment to the savory tender pork. All of that was covered in that amazing mole sauce – I didn’t want it to end! The restaurant is festive and clean, and the service was super friendly and quick. I can’t wait to come back!
