The owner’s family is wonderful, and they always greet customers like their family. The food is always delicious, hot, and comes with big portions. The store is so clean and cute. Me and my daughter usually like their food but this time ughhhh.. the General Tso chicken was battered like the sweet sour chicken which she got and the pork fried rice had large pieces of pork which you’d think was a good thing but it may have been undercooked a bit. We both had upset stomachs afterwards. I’m wondering how dated the food is there at this point. We won’t be going back.

Many people consider this to be the best Chinese restaurant in the Toledo area, and my wife and I agree with that. They have traditional Chinese options as well as American-style Chinese. My wife is Chinese and does the ordering, so I don’t know the names of the dishes we’ve tried, but they were all excellent. We usually get a fish dish or a pork dish and also some kind of vegetable. They just have a few tables, so we try to get there before noon for a seat. They also have a very busy take out service.

The fried rice was delicious, very flavorful. The Large chicken fried rice was a way bigger portion than the actual sweet and sour chicken dinner. You’re better off ordering that if you want more for your money. The egg rolls were not good. Very strong taste but I can’t decide if it was too much anise flavor or celery.
