i gave their service 4 stars because when i pulled at the drive thru, i was told to wait but 10 minutes later, still no one took my order. 2 cars lined up behind went around me and left. so i decided to go inside and placed my order. it wasn’t not busy, 3 customers were ahead of me so i waited for another 10 minutes to place my order. the cashier was nice to accomodate me and took my order, family bucket with 4 thighs and 4 breasts. i paid $32 for my custom order and the chicken was freshly fried. it tastes so good, crunchy and juicy chicken. it hit the spot, that was good lunch.

The place was filthy, and I requested for the tables to be cleaned. I believe the employee asked the manager for help, but he didn’t move because he was eating. The person at the register asked which table to be cleaned, and we said all of them. That was too much for him. So I reply, we’ll eat at whatever table that you. A requested a trade to take my food to the table. But he informed me that there were no clean trays. The drink machine was broken. The trash cans were overflowing. The employee at the register tried his best but had no help to just provide the standard service. Believe it or not, the manager did not even get up to assist in any way. After the employee at the register requested help. That experience was the first for me. I know people are short of employees, but to service doesn’t have to be bad just because the lack of help.

Plain and simple… These are not nuggets. It is a chopped up breast. Disgusting tasting, cold, and a complete waste of money. This place has so much potential and great employees, yet the management in this Stamford, CT location must be adjusted. This is one of many issues I’ve had there.

Must be opening week jitters but the customer service is simply terrible. I saw many people’s orders were wrong so the come back to get it fixed. My order was wrong too and getting any order fixed seemed like an ordeal for the staff. It wasn’t even that busy. Service is slow mostly due to improperly trained staff, or they simply have no ability.

It’s a Velasco Thing
I went to Popeye to try the chicken since I’ve actually never tried Popeye’s chicken before and figured I’d go check out the new one in town. So, I’ve given the place 3 stars because I believe they deserve the benefit of the doubt, but here are a few things they need to work on. 1st think I notice is that everyone working there seemed a bit frantic for lack of better words. There weren’t many people actually ordering. The gentleman at the counter seemed to be trying to wrangle in the employees as they all where running around all and chattering away. There was one customer who had been waiting for some time for her order.
