The whistle stop restaurant has been making home cooked meals for over 35 years and have been known for their signature breakfast omelets and stuffed huckleberry french toast. After years of minimal changes to the menu the restaurant we will continue to serve top favorites from the past but this season (2023) they will be creating an ENTIRELY NEW lunch and dinner menu. The menu will serve all fresh, farm to table local ingredients from the top vegetable and meat purveyors in Montana. There will also be a host of options for vegetarians. We will be closing the restaurant between 12 and 1pm so we can switch breakfast to lunch and dinner.

Enjoyed a very good breakfast here and coffee is awesome. Short, pleasant walk from our hotel this restaurant is employed by some of the nicest people from around the world. Service was exemplary and atmosphere is so comfortable & clean. My husband & I recommend the Angry Bear & South of the Border! Efe our server was very friendly and attentive.

No idea why this place isn’t rated a 4.3-4.5…. Not a huge menu but everything we had was really good. If you’re on the East side of Glacier this is a solid stop. Nice and clean, great service, and great comfort food.

Stopped in for brunch on a Thursday & everyone in our 3 generation family found something delicious. Fast & friendly service. We had stuffed huckleberry & plain Texas toast, veggie omelet, bacon, sides & coffee. Absolutely recommend!

The burgers were good and had nice flavor. I would definitely prefer fries over plain potato chips. My whistle stop Burger was a little dry for my taste. I prefer more sauces. The rest of my family really enjoyed the food and the Huckleberry pie was fantastic I definitely recommend that. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The parking was a bit difficult the parking lot was small for the crowd they had and we had to park a half a block away on the side of the road.

Ate here with a family member for dinner after a tour in Two Medicine. I would recommend for anyone taking a trip to Glacier Park! The food was great and was served very quickly, it only took a couple minutes to recieve our food. The staff were very kind and it was nice talking to them.
