Dined in at this Cracker Barrel location during vacation with family. Food was good as usual just the customer service. The waitress who served us made it obvious she did not want to be there. We had to constantly get her attention for drink refills to take out boxes. It is completely understandable when someone is busy or helping out others but this was not the case. Overall, everything else was great!!

Just about everything we had was delicious from the steak to the biscuits and gravy, the orange juice was great the cheesecake pancakes were great along with the regular pancakes. The regular hash browns could have been done a little crispier and the hash brown casserole was not the greatest. The fried apples were great they were like apple pie filling.

We ate in one night and got to go one night this wknd as our hotel was within walking distance. Everything was good only 4 stars because ordered steak and they said it was still frozen so it took longer to cook. It was still delicious just hard to wait long with little ones. Not a big problem and all was well.

Seems like Cracker Barrel is having issues with their food service. Fried chicken has been overcooked last 2 visits. Had to return for fresh order while others ate. Buffalo Mac/cheese was ok but could have been hotter. Cracker Barrel was always our stop when traveling. Service was great as usual though.

We were seated quickly no wait at all. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. All was good except the food. Everything was old. Nothing we ordered was fresh. The corn muffins were so hard it was unreal. Never ever again will we eat at the Morristown/White Pine location. This was definitely a one and done

I normally don’t write negative reviews but we had a really poor customer service experience from our waitress. We were there 08/25/23 at 10pm. We were seated by a very friendly woman but our actual waitress was very subpar. My best guess is she was upset she had a table an hour before close. Our first encounter with her was very stand-offish. She came out and asked “What do you want?” Luckily we already had our items preselected to make our visit as quick as possible where we did come in later to be respectful of everyone’s time. We are the type of customers if it’s time for close we are out at least 5-10 before and we would have even taken our food to the car if we hadn’t finished before then so they could get home. Once we ordered it took about 20 minutes which is no big deal. It was late and food at to be made for 2 adults, a toddler, and an 8 month old. When our food was brought out and I was thanking the waitress for each of our plates as she was handing them to us she was very passive aggressive. Each thank you I said the more passive aggressive she got with her responses which really set a bad tone with me. When she asked if there was anything else after handing us our food my husband let her know that his biscuit and gravy was missing and she responded very annoyed “okay” with an attitude and just walked away. That experience left a bad experience on my husbands part. She brought out his biscuit and gravy and said she would check back in. She did not but it’s fine because at this point she was making the experience that was supposed to be a rare opportunity for my husband and I to have a dinner that is relaxing and nice experience a bad one. He works a lot and works late so it’s rare we get to do that. We had our table clean, plates clean and stacked at the end of our table and we were out by 5-10 minutes before closed. We did everything to accommodate this server the best we could and were friendly despite her being extremely passive aggressive. I don’t know if it’s because we came in an hour before close and she assumed that we would be there all night, I don’t know if she saw two kids and thought she would have a huge mess to clean up and was annoyed, if she was having a bad day or if she really was just a terrible server who doesn’t need a customer service job. It’s never good to judge needless to say because we were the opposite of all those things. The only jobs I’ve worked have been customer service jobs and it really hurt as a service employee to see just how poorly she treated us and more than likely treats others. I don’t have a name to provider. She wasn’t a good experience so I did not look for it. If she happens to read reviews like I did for service jobs I held in the past my best advice is come in to work with a positive attitude every day. If you can’t have a good day don’t let that impact other people who have no control over what you may be dealing with. It costs nothing to be kind. If a positive attitude doesn’t help make your own day better it will at least guaranteed bless someone else’s day. We did have a waitress that wasn’t ours come over with bright colored hair and she was the sweetest. She spoke to my two year old and talked to us for a bit and herself as well as the cashier that was an older gentleman were the only kind interactions we experienced last night and they stood out as well as shined.

The food is ok. My main complaint with this place is that they don’t ask you if you’re ready for the check. They bring it to the table and lay it down and say, “Take your time.” Then you never see a waitress/waiter again even if you need a refill on your drink. If I still have food on my plate and I’m still eating, I am more than likely gonna need a refill on my drink. If I have orange juice, then that’s what I want more of. Not water. So don’t bring my check and lay it down til I ask for it so I get get more arange juice.

I was visiting from out of town and thought this would be a great place to eat, boy was I wrong! The waitress had an attitude, the food was mediocre. The wait to be seated was long. I don’t mind waiting for good food and service. None of this was the case. Please hire those who know how to meet and greet customers, and know how to make their experience there a pleasant one. I understand everyone has a bad day but by the reviews I doubt this was the case.

It is always helpful for an establishment to inform me if they are out of one of their most popular items as I am seated, not after I have made my selections. And then, if you are out of multiple things, don’t rush me now that I have to look at the menu again. Then when I do get my food, I feel like I got the bottom of the barrel. It just was not a good experience. If I have any defense for them it was about an hour before closing.
